I've always enjoyed those kinds of projects... wood, metal, making things from leftover parts and pieces, whatever. I love being creative and building things.![]()
Me too, LOL. But I would rather the porch have turned out looking more "professional" than it did![]()
) but I'm a bit of a perfectionist with that stuff. I tweak until it looks perfect, or good enough when it will be covered by something else. That's just how I am. However, being taller may be a great advantage for me.Me too, LOL. But I would rather the porch have turned out looking more "professional" than it did![]()
Sorry to bail earlier - my brother called.
Projects are fun! There's nothing better than the satisfaction of doing something yourself.
Oooooo - hubs just mentioned something about tornadoes on the news. Whaaaaaaat?????
VG, I need to bail again. This time it's to sleep! Have a cozy night, Mr Fixit! And sleep well, Tink!

I just had a thought. If you want to send me some pictures, with closer shots where necessary, I can probably make some suggestions on how to make improvements and add in the closures, without a total rebuild.
Wanna try it?![]()

I went "south" to DEHiya StoneWhat part of the 'south' are you in?
Hey VG......
Hello, Stone.
All these flybys... I wish you'd light. Are you afraid of being Swatted?
.....
That is good news Sun...congrats!Old daddy is back in his room after TWO surgeries today. The infection had spread to his knee so that had to be cleaned out. Both surgeries seem to have been a great success and he called my sisters name upon seeing her when they got him back to his room.
......
Take care of that knee GlamActually, the knee is a little better today. Still on pain killers and icing it regularly, but I noticed I am not limping as badly. So, in time, I think I will be back to normal. I am also drinking a product called Wellese Joint Movement...and taking Emergence C with MSM....both have MSM which is a good thing for joints.
Thanks for asking.![]()
What a GREAT nap!!!!Now if I could just do that 2-3 times in a row....

I appreciate it VG. When I get ready to do something I may pick your brain for ideas! I think I do need to start over because I've never loved it. When I feel the energy (and when warmer weather arrives) I will send you pic.s and talk to you about it. Thanks!![]()
Good evening Beach(ers)
I went "south" to DE
Hey VGI haven't stopped in for a long chat because I don't want to lose too much time from visiting. I do want to stop in and say hello when I can, though
Have a great Friday! TGIF![]()
I'm visiting family VG...sorry I wasn't clear about that....
Do you have a job in DE now? You had said a while back that you hoped something was coming.
I'm glad you are still stopping by. Just my weird way of saying I've missed you.I hope all is well.
EDIT:
I see you said "miss too much time from visiting." I hope you are enjoying whatever you are doing.![]()
I don't have a job in DE, but I will soon have on in NY so I will be back home Sunday. It's great to visit, but tiring at the same time
I miss hanging out and doing whatever I feel like doing when I feel like doing it...but this is a pretty short visit, so it is worth the effort BRB Hubs informed me we have a "cat-related mess" in our bathroom. Oliver the Pisser has been vomiting a lot lately
And he really can't afford to lose any weight. Poor little thing is only 7 pounds.
Tink - Jass vomited a lot when she got backed up with hair balls. Her intestines were full of hair so when she ate it sometimes came back up. You might try giving him fish oil to lubricate the mess and see if it will pass.
) but now I'm thinking it could have been Grover. There was a big hairball along with a lot of food. [I am sure non-catlovers are enjoying this conversation!!
]. I always mix in mineral oil with their food at night to prevent/lessen hairballs. But Grover wouldn't eat anything tonight
. I will try some fish oil and see if he will eat that.Break time, everybody!
