Afternoon, Scott.
You found your way.
All of you who can use PG are so lucky. I DIY too, Scott, but my flavors are so limited for pre-made, and I have to search vendors for flavorings that are totally PG-Free. Now I'm concerned about oils, like Cinnamon Red Hots (or Fruits), because the oil in CRH makes me cough after extended use. And after extended PMs with a Chemist, I'm concerned about Extracts... Biomolecules that aren't good to vape.
What are your go to flavors, veej? I might have some solutions for ya. Biochemisty with emphasis on natural substances has always been a side hobby of mine. Do you like tobacco flavors ( real, not chemical attempts at flavor emulation)

Thanks Scott. I haven't cared for the Tobacco Flavors I've tried. I started doing plain 100% VG. Did that for months. Then I won some CRH in a contest and that changed my world. It was totally PG-Free, too. I've been using TFA CRH for months now, because Sun helped me with that. Sent me some to try while I still had some of the other, and told me how to mix it (15%). It tasted just like what I won, and I have stayed with that since.
But the Cinnamon is an Oil in Ethyl Alcohol, and the buildup of oil in my lungs and throat is making me cough now, after prolonged use.
I've been advised to stay away from flavorings that are extracts because of the biomolecules.
So after using CRH, and it being so sweet, 100% VG does not taste good anymore. I am looking for sweet things, and dessert flavors. I wrote in to Natures Flavors with a list of things I'd like to be able to make from the flavorings they offer... none of them were ready to go.
Banana Cream Pie (crust may be light)
Pumpkin Pie with Whipped Cream on top (crust may be light)
Red Velvet Cake with Icing (like purchased from a bakery)
Peaches and Cream (ice cream or not)
Banana Custard (like Jello Pudding)
Tapioca (like Jello Pudding)
Things like this. I'm sure I could come up with more.
I am aware of Nude Nicotine, but they are quite expensive, and appear to be extracts.

I've been buying from One Stop DIY Shop. I bought some Natures Flavors Banana Foster there, and it is pretty good. It's concentrated, and tastes good by itself, but I had to add Everclear to thin more because it's concentrated.

Scott......I ordered from Heather's Heavenly Vapes....a bunch of samples last month. I loved almost all of them....lots of vapor. The only ones I did not like were Black and Blue and Legend (everyone's fav. ) I never liked any tobacco flavors until I found Goodejuice...I love their High Octane....it is my favorite tobacco. And does not clog my cartos like Ahlusion which is known for their NETs. I loved Ahlusion, but will not reorder because of the clogging issues. HHV did not clog so I will probably order from them again and their tobaccos are good. I am so happy juice makers can now make good tobacco vapes.
I am going to place an order with Nicoticket....I am down to less than 100 bottles of juice...getting low.

So would you recommend HHV for same and what's it called?
I make my own Havana Cigar from real Cuban leaf.....It's truly a thing of beauty in liquid form. Add a little cherry and it's my ADV.
Yet, alas, like you I ran into the same clogged coil prob. The only thing that made it work was switching off of cotton to Ekowool and dry burning it at 15 watts and above. Which I did 'cuz the juice was that good.
Which reminds me I need to make some more, and buy an additional Trident, exclusively fitted with Ekowool. Then at about 35 watts a dry burn is almost instant with a .5Ω coil

The clogging is because of the NET's... biomolecules. They aren't good for the lungs, either.

Yes....all my vapes are menthol.....but I never order mentholated vapes. I order regular flavors and then add a few drops of Vaporgod's Arctic Wolf because it adds a clean icy blast....no flavor, but colder than an Illinois winter.

I know a lot of people love them, for the flavor of the real thing and stuff, but the NET's also contain tobacco alkaloids and tobacco toxins. NET's tend to be coil killers from biomolecules gunking things up, and they also contain TSNAs. An occasional pleasure would be OK, but not at all a daily vape or all-day vape.
TSNA Definition:
Tobacco-specific nitrosamines
Tobacco-specific N-nitrosamines (TSNAs) are known to be some of the most potent carcinogens present in smokeless tobacco, snuff and tobacco smoke (and therefore, e-liquids).
TSNAs consist of four chemical compounds:
• N-nitrosonornicotine (NNN)
• 4-methyl-N-nitrosamino-1-(3-pyridyl)-1-butanone (NNK)
• N-nitrosoanatabine (NAT)
• N-nitrosoanabasine (NAB)
Two of these chemical compounds, NNN and NNK, have been classified as Group 2B carcinogens.

I think you are talking about Ahlusion's aromatic line. They do clog. They also hit you like a ton of bricks, if that's what you like. However, all the other (non-aromatic) tobaccos are his own extracted tobaccos too....and I've not had a clogging problem with them (?). Maybe it's just the flavors I've had?
