For anyone not into DIY for your
e-liquids, I just wanted to make an example of how much cheaper it is.
I just made 200ml of Cinnamon Red Hots (CRH) for $6.79.
That's figured with the following expenses.
$65.00 - 1 liter 36mg/ml USP VG Nicotine (can't calculate S&H because it was a bulk order with many things)
$16.47 - 1 gallon USP VG
$ 8.63 - S&H on 1 gallon USP VG
$ 9.00 - 4oz TFA CRH
$ 5.00 - S&H on 4oz TFA CRH
Because I am down to mixing 6.5mg/ml, it is mostly USP VG and CRH now, and little Nic, cutting the greatest cost factor of the Nic. I bought this liter of Nic in January 2013, and I'm still using it. I originally cut the Nic 50/50 with USP and bought a liter of each that January, but as I started cutting down from 18mg/ml to 6.5 now, I started going
through USP much faster. I bought a whole gallon of USP not long ago, cutting overall costs even further. I'm mixing 6.5mg/ml because the numbers work out to even ml a lot closer.
.36ml Nic (rounded from 36.1111)
134ml USP VG (rounded from 133.8889)
.30ml TFA CRH @ 15% (30.0000 actual)
I use
DIY E-Liquid Calculator Ten Flavors Plus PG/VG Adjusting as my
e-liquid Calculator (this link is not one of my recipes... just the standard link to the calculator I use). Setup the calculator with your Nic and USP info, the percentage of Nic you want in the mix, how many ml to mix, then plug in the costs of each item, press Calculate, and it tells you the percentage of each liquid to mix and the total cost.
I know, I know . . .
