I will say that this is a part of my everyday scenery...it's worse in the summer, because you're basically glancing at guy's butts in underwear all the time... But it was pretty scandalous when young people started wearing jeans. Yep, jeans were scandalous. The difference, of course, is that youth were adopting jeans to make a point about honesty and humility. The crazes of drooping pants and one sweat pant leg pulled up over one calf got their start in prison....just sayin'Me eitherI just want to kick them in the ... and tell them to pull up their pants!!!

I had heard that the one pant leg pulled over the calf indicated "I've got drugs to sell". Not sure if that is true or is an urban myth.
Never heard of that but I live a sheltered life in my little town.
Wouldn't surprise me though.
LOL, we gals oughta get together and go out like that to make a statement. Heck we'd prolly be arrested and all over the news stations. Heck if it would stop the poopy pants look, I would even wear a thong to get the dang point across. Dorky guys would prolly like it though.

I've heard that as well. I've also heard that prisoners would pull one up to show their muscle definition...a lot of "gym rat" guys only work out the upper body and neglect the lower body. It was supposed to be a sign that they were strong all over. I don't know which one is correct, but the origin is the important point to me. When did we, as a society, start to imitate prisoners instead of hard-working people???

The Vapure e-cig store near me has a lot of kids working. I went in today for a couple of cartos, and a once-beautiful young lady walked up to me. She had calico hair (predominantly pink) and several lower lip studs. It's too painful for me to even look at someone like that, so I usually don't ... just kinda look around while talking.

I wasn't all that excited when I realized I had to scrape 3-4 inches of snow off of it. Luckily, I have a snow scraper, but I forgot to put on gloves. My poor little digits nearly froze.
