I'll probably be leaving before too long. I told my nephew I'd help him move this weekend. I'm dressed all warm in my motorcycle winter undergarments. It's only 50º out, but very humid with all the melting snow and drizzle, so it's the kind of cold that cuts
through.
I lent him my trailer, and his step-dad took it on Thursday because the cold and snow was coming, but they didn't plan on using it until today. I'll meet them when they come back to town and ride back and forth with them... he's moving near here. With me helping, we may get him all moved today. They were going to get started at 8AM, but didn't (I knew it wouldn't happen). I've called and been told it's a slow start, still getting boxes packed. Does this sound typical to anyone else?
But I'll cut him some slack. He's a fairly recent single Dad, doing an absolutely fantastic job of raising his daughter. IMHO, you'll never find a better father. His wife decided she didn't love him anymore, and packed up and left a while back. He gets lots of support from family. He's moving here for better schools for her, and to be closer to his job here. He had been commuting. So I'll be happy to help him, in any way I can. This is the same nephew who is interested in e-cigs. We haven't been able to meet for that yet, but we'll do it soon.
