Right on! I am enjoying a nice cold St. Pauli Girl N.A.

So
:toast:

We sure have come a long way from 'Near Beer' lemme tell ya !

You are affluent in Spanish, and seem well traveled. I really only like regular American beers... never cared for St. Pauli Girl, Ambers, Darks, Ales, etc. If you don't mind me asking, where are you from?

Hi Scott! I like dark beers too but drink both light and dark. I also like hard cider - refreshing!

I finalized adoption today and picked up another kitty from the humane society. This one needs socialization badly. The claw marks in my shoulder prove that. Poor scared kitty.

That gray tabby I had got me too. It was mostly just really scared from when I tried to move it from one place to another, when I made the longer-term cage for it. The shelter promised they'd keep her until someone adopted her, so it was all worth it.

I don't remember. How did it work out with the dog. Did that shelter get it back?

No, our dog is stolen and we will never get it back. The JSO is pretty much useless imo.

I love cats. I had 30 or so at one time that I adopted. Alot of semi-feral ones. I remember getting 300 lbs of dry cat food at a time.

All courtesy of Purina, free, God bless that company!

Was an informal rescue operation much to the chagrin of the woman I was married to then.

Beware of people who don't like cats. Especially if you are romantically involved with 'em.

Hahaha - when I was a young teen my dad decided he was going to "take control" of the grocery expenses. He started coming home from Kroger's with all this "cost-cutter" food and such. My mother refused to serve it and it all went in the garbage lolol. So much for cost cutting.... but he also bought cost cutter beer! It was in these bright yellow cans that were labeled "BEER" in black! No one would drink those but him, so I guess he did cut costs with that! Shudder.....

That sucks. :(

I grew up all around the U.S. coast to coast. Born in Los Angeles area and attended many of my 20 or so schools there (In Cali). But, also I claim Texas because that's where I spent some time in my adult life.

I really am from "all around" LOL

I loves me some good German beer tho!

Got a taste for gator when I was in Texas, you get alot of gator there in LA I imagine?

I've lived all over the South, in Tennessee, Texas, Arizona, and my 1st enlistment in the Navy was 80 miles north of L.A. in Oxnard.

I've had alligator one time, in NOLA. It was in burger form. It was tasty, but tough. But not as tough as the Squid I had once. It was as tough as a Goodyear Tire.

My baby was feral for a while. She had been around people and had already been spayed, but she had apparently been left when the owner moved. She's just over 1 year old now.
