Good Morning, Beachers.
It was a clear day yesterday in northern IL.......

Made it down to see my sister....some mixed reactions to her state of being. She definitely has picked up more speaking words. YAY. But often, she knows what she wants to say and cannot say the right words; so she is feeling very frustrated.

But she was definitely improved. With some prompting we got "I love you" out of her for each of us. I left her feeling both happy and sad. Thursday, she is scheduled for surgery....they are going to try a stomach feeding tube again. The nose tube is/was a temporary fix, and she has reached the critical time for it to be removed. They think her heart is strong enough to make it
through the surgery, and are going to try to put a light down into her stomach so they can find an area to insert the stomach tube. This is risky because her heart is not pumping 100%, but there really is no choice. And if successful, the rehab people say rehab therapy will be so much easier, for them and her. So prayers for success will be accepted with much gratitude and love.
I have not back read....but looks like you all were not too talky....probably watching that exciting Super Bowl game.

When I got home from the rehab center, hubs had made it back from his snowmobile trip, and was cooking a ham and had made some snacks. He also said the snowmobiling up there was the best he had ever done. And said he was happy I made it back in time to watch the Super Bowl with him.....OH THE JOY!!

So you know why I did not say hi last night.
My other sister was picked up at the rehab center by her daughter, so now things are back to normal in my household.
It is supposed to snow another 5 inches tomorrow afternoon/evening.
This winter has ALMOST become laughable.
Now I am going to back read, and see if anything exciting happened here while I was busy in the RW. See you later.
