That's a rebuild. Maybe not a total coil-replacement rebuild, but a rebuild.
The only thing I'd say could be done is to do what's called a Dry Burn. You empty the Tank and press the Fire button until the Coil starts to glow Red, but don't let it get too red too fast. Start on your lowest Voltage and press the button briefly. You want to burn off all the juice that is on it and around it. You can do this with the Tank Cover off so you can see what's happening better. Screw the 510 Base with the Head installed onto your Battery. I dry mine off as much as I can before I do this.
But you have to start very slowly and at a low Voltage. I've burned out some coils on my Davide, which is a ProTank Head. Your ARO Heads are very similar, if not the same thing.
Your Head looks something like this.
The Chimney (I'll call it) comes off...
1. Take the Base/Head Assembly out of the Tank and empty the Tank (or store it upside down).
2. Dry off the Base/Head Assembly a bit and screw it back on to the Battery.
3. Pop off the chimney. Pry it gently back and forth. You can use small pliers if you need to, but don't crimp it. Save this piece.
4. Dry off the Head/Coil inside as much as possible. It's easier to do on the Battery (for me).
5. Set the Voltage to the Lowest Setting.
6. Press the Fire button briefly, but don't let the Coil burn Red yet. Repeat and watch for all the juice to burn off.
7. Press the Fire button until the Coil
starts to glow Red and release. Repeat a few times.
Now you are ready for the Glow Burn. This lets the Coil actually Glow Red and burns off any Gunk and Build-Up, but limit the Glow to 1 second. Eventually, the whole Coil will Glow. If done properly, the Wick will be white again, and the whole Coil will be clean.
1. With the Voltage still on the lowest setting, Glow the Coil for 1 second. Repeat once or twice.
2. Increase the Voltage and repeat. If the Wick and Coil look clean, go to step 4. If not, go to 3.
3. Increase the Voltage and repeat, but only let it Glow Red for 1/2 second. You don't want to burn out the Coil.
4. When everything looks clean, pop the chimney back on. When it is seated correctly, you will hear it actually POP back in, and it will be standing in straight alignment as it was before.
If you blow a Coil, what the heck? It was unusable anyway.
Reassemble your ARO and use it, like it was a brand new Head. Let your juice sit and absorb into the wicking for about 1 minute before vaping.
I know you are thinking

, but this is the least Fiddly it gets. This is a Cleaning, and not a Rebuild.
