2/26 Oh yeah, Pokey doesn't seem to visit our thread anymore, so I have crossed her off my list. If she were to still be here, her 4-year vetaversary would be the 26th. Maybe we could pop by and post to her Profile Page or look for maybe someone making her a thread for wherever she hangs out now. It's up to you guys ... I wanted to be sure to mention it to ya so you can decide for yourselves.


Since I'm not getting on as much lately, if someone could let me know by PM if there are any new members, I would appreciate it. I'm thinking of two posters, but can't remember their user names. Please and thank you.

I'll let you know, Sea. I wrote to Pokey recently. She's OK. She isn't posting much anywhere, but she posted on the beach today for Tink. I'll ask her if she wants a celebration here, in a thread, or nothing at all, like I do with everyone now.

Tink, what did your mother fix for your dinner?

Country styled steak, fried okra, creamed potatoes, green beans and corn. And she made a pound cake with fudge icing for my BD cake. Lordy that lady spoils me and I love her for it!!

Good Morning, Beachers.

I am sorry I did not make it back last night. My knee is really giving me fits so I was on the sofa all evening with an ice pack and an ibuprofen bottle. I have a Dr's. appointment this afternoon...if weather does not prevent it. It is blowing and snowing here with another 7 inches predicted. Hubs is going to come home and take me to the Dr. At least he has 4 wheel drive.

Hope you all have a great Monday. I am going to back read and see what kind of shenanigans went on here.

Morning, jj. Thanks....I can't wait. But at least ours is all snow. You guys are in the sleet/ice corridor. So you all take care also. Glad you are staying in....it looks nasty.

Son just called from Bloomington area....he reported nastiness there also. Happy he is off on Mondays since he is a Frontier/Verizon trouble shooter and must travel on his job.

This is the unending winter.

Well I got hopes it will end at some point. Right now I'm hoping son stayed home.

Glam you think the doctor can do anything to relieve the pain in your knee?

I sure hope so.....I can only walk with the help of Aleve or Motrin. And am scheduled to go to Michigan via train on Friday. Watching the grandson while DD and son-in-law go on a cruise. So, if he wants to schedule surgery, it will have to wait until after Mar. 3 when I get home. To even get on a train I will have to load up on pain killers.

But am taking my computer so I can visit my beach friends.
