Yes - it's the same one, but hopefully without the cracks and manufacturing defects in it. Believe me, I am demanding to see it before a finish is even put on it!!! For now, I've got a pretty door, but one that never would have lasted through this winter. It will be many weeks before it's here, but I don't care as long as it's replaced. So, it's all good.

I don't see my old standby brand in there. Ok, I'll just bring my own. Some of you may remember my Dayton ritual last year of picking up a pizza and one beer.
G'nite folks, I have a plumbing problem I have to deal with.
I had a clogged drain a few days ago and put dose of Liquid Plummer in it.
Must have eaten a hole through my garbage disposal ... and it flooded underneath my sink. I took the few things I had under there out, but they are wet, and I need to put them up. Friday won't get into them, but they're in the middle of the floor. The under-sink shelf is sagging - cheapo construction - probably fiberboard. Looks like I need to buy a garbage disposal and find a handyman to rebuild the sink ... luckily one of my friends is a plumber, and I'm sure if I cook him a nice homemade jambalaya and buy a bottle of wine he'll fix it for me.
I'm on a little bit of a bumpy road over the last week. I think someone upstairs is testing my patience. I had a little drama in a convenience gas station store - and oh Lordy, before my first cup of coffee. Some man started screaming and cussing at me, and I felt for sure he was going to flatten me. Considering the days we now live in, I can't get mad at him though, there are so many vets coming back with post-traumatic shock syndrome while others are on medications that don't do them any good. A lot of slack to be given these days for sure. Otherwise, I would have squirted him with my squirt gun or stung him with my pea shooter and then run like hell.

It may just be that the leaking is because of the cheaper chrome-plated brass drain tubes that many use. They rust out over time, and if it wasn't leaking already, the Liquid Plummer may have eaten through the weak place in the Drain U-Trap. The Plastic Tubing lasts a lot longer, and most Plumbers use it these days. Hopefully that's all it is and you won't have to replace the disposal. You may need to lay some new plywood down over the old underneath flooring. That's easier than tearing it all out and rebuilding it. The Plumber may do that, too.

Late night Flyby (kind of) Beach
It was actually pretty tasty! I don't usually cook out of a package, much less the taco meal kit in a box.
The weather wasn't as bad as the weather folks made it out to be...there were some very high winds, followed by some steady rain, and then thunder. It was over here in just a couple of hours. Folks lost power nearby, and I saw a few tin roofs peeled away on the news Luckily, it all missed us here.
I'm going to go back and see what I missed now

Sorry I missed you this afternoon...I quickly caught up and then made guac for "taco night" The taco night actually wasn't too bad, especially considering I'm not much of a taco fan. Instead of trying to eat a taco, I put all of the taco stuff (shells and all) in a bowl and ate it like a saladHello, Stone.
We are finally on at the same time.
