Snowed quite a bit here this morning....but hubs tells me 8 inches coming to northern Illinois later today....and we are on the northern edge of this huge storm. So, jj, you will probably get even more. 8-o And folks out east....get ready! Probably a few snow days for our eastern peeps. (( Starry! )) (( Stone! ))

I go home via Amtrak on Monday....hope the tracks are not snowed under. They should be ok...most of the snow will be south of my travel area.
Today, I am going to laze around....getting up the energy to clean this place before daughter gets back. Although she does not deserve it...what with cavorting and drinking in the Caribbean while I am stuck here.
I ordered a natural product called Blood Sugar Gold for the poor old diabetic cat. It came yesterday, and I started giving it to him. I swear he is better already...he came and slept on me last night, first time since I got here...and has eaten two good meals since I gave him the meds. And he had not been eating more than a couple of tablespoons each day. We shall see....lots of good reviews about this product, but this cat is in really bad shape. Daughter did not want him on insulin at his age, and I do not blame her. He will be 20 years old next year....if he makes it.

Thanks for the travel well wishes....yes, I am anxious to get home. Hubs is functioning too well without me. Going to the casino, out to eat, visiting friends. 
He probably wishes I would stay another week....but I am going to show him!
