They would find a way to NOT pay.....probably say something like "It was intentional" or some such nonsense. Like they think men can control that!!! :D

No offense to you or your DH… insurance sucks! You pay and pay and pay, year after year. Then, if you make a claim they either raise your rates or cancel you

We've had times where they shut it off (and they notified everyone) BUT NEVER for days...just a few hours.

(((hugs))) even though you haven't bathed for two days!!

LOL, coconut oil to the rescue!:)

This may shock a lot of you, but I never use soap on my skin ... except for the armpits and doodah areas. Soap murders my skin with the chemical add-ins and all the perfumes. I use oil to cleanse with, and I have one of those high-power spray detachable shower heads so I can get the bottom of my feet clean before oiling them up.

Is that what the song "Camp Town Ladies" is about, when it says "Doodah, Doodah"?

I know...and they have gotten a lot worse in the last few years. This is due to all the storms and tornadoes....home insurance used to be a huge money maker for insurance companies....not any more. There are so many subdivisions with expensive homes that when a tornado or wind storm hits.....the claims are numerous and big. I do not know the answer....it seems like this problem just keep getting worse. :(

I think a lot of it is because we seem to be having more and more natural disasters. Thus, more claims.
