I'm leaving for the night, and my long weekend. I have to get packed, etc.
Posting this again for any who may not read back . . .
My Aunt passed away and I am going to the funeral. Ill be with my family in Bolivar, TN, near Memphis. Im leaving very early Friday morning, and wont be back until Sunday night, probably very late. Im driving to North-Eastern Louisiana to meet with a sister, and riding up with her and her DH.
People so often offer condolences on these occasions. Of course I will miss her, but I am not saddened or grief-stricken. Im happy that my Aunt is at peace. She lived a full, happy life, mostly on her own terms, and went out on her own terms, the way she directed that she wanted it to be. She is in a better place now.
I am posting this because I will be gone for three days. I am bringing my Laptop, but I dont know if there will be Internet service where I will be, at her house. If there is, I will be checking in periodically. If not, then I cant.
I havent seen my cousins in years, so I have that to look forward to. Ill be thinking of all of you.
