I do too. After whining about having to use Smoketek cartos I've actually been enjoying the ease of it now. Except it is stuck in the mod. I'll have to empty the tank and pull it off before I can unscrew it.

That's odd. The flange should help you unscrew it.

I like Smoketek cartos. I don't have the ones with the flange like you do, though. I also fill from the bottom so don't think I'd like the flange.

I have actually found it much easier to fill - just slide the tank up and top off, replace drip tip. I don't like using it with my trippies though. Too much wiggling back and forth increases the chance of snapping the stem.

Those cartos were all I used before going to tanks....and I always filled from the bottom too. Used to get them at Crystal Clear Vaping....15 of them for $22.....and he always threw in a couple of free drip tips. Wonder how his business is doing now.....his carto deals were his bread and butter.

With the carto in a tank, you don't unscrew anything. Just push the carto through one of holes (top or bottom) and fill. If you fill from the bottom, you don't have to take off the drip tip. That is how I do it (and I'm pretty sure Sun said she does too).

I got a chit-ton of them in a co-op a LONG time ago. They really last :thumb:

Yeah - I bought from him too until I got a load of bad cartos and his "helper" refused a refund or replace. I never ordered from him again.

I thought she said the carto was stuck in the 510. My carto tank has a place that catches the flange of the carto, which should make it easy to unscrew the carto with the tank on.
