Ohhhh, jj.....those are the best!! Put the garlic in at the end or it loses its flavor....a little sour cream, some milk, some butter, but keep them a little firm and chunky when mashing. And....the left overs are wonderful fried in a little oil. DROOL!!!

Oh I have tried them and I love garlic, just not in my potatoes.

Lots of times, I have dinner all planned....and hubs will come home, and just start peeling potatoes without asking me if I was planning on potatoes. He especially does this with beef and noodles or chicken and noodles. Starch overload! He already knows I am not going to make potatoes when we are having noodles. I do not mind....except he usually makes enough for 6 people.

Apparently he scoffs at the idea of 'starch overload'

I have to admit that the alcohol in the house is the vodka that I use for e cigs and rubbing. :p

I do not usually do the hard stuff unless sharing a drink with company...on a social basis. But I do have a glass of wine occasionally. I like to sit on the deck in the summer with my pv and a glass of wine. I can't wait!!! Cold records going on all over the country...the eastern half is way below normal...the western half is way above normal. The Arkansas fishermen are down there with a record cold spell.
