I do have these green tea capsules that I take now and then. Otherwise I do very little caffeine.

Good Morning, Beachers......

Not sleeping in....just looking for kitties, which took us almost 45 minutes to find. Yep, you are right, Sun and VG. We are going to move them upstairs where we can keep track of them. They are both hiding right now...under the basement staircase. Hubs is out buying them a scratching post and some beer (the beer is for him, not them....when he gets back, we are going to move them to the upstairs and block off all areas except the dining room and living room. Then will take them to the basement bathroom at night. My shelter friend says they need to be with us...that we are their comfort, especially in a strange place. And we cannot spend enough time with them downstairs and there are too many places to hide, so they are coming up. They ate very well, and the litter box was used so they were out from hiding at least part of the night.

Dale....so happy you have clean hair....to do nothing!

Hope you all are having a happy Sat. We get the granddaughter for a few hours this afternoon, we will be busy with kitties and a kid for a few hours.

Nothing to worry about. The glass is very thick and bonded together with silicone. I've had other large fish tanks, so the only thing to be concerned with here are the night stands that support the tank. But I'm sure they are designed to hold that weight.

I'd hate to have to clean the tank!

It's a saltwater tank, so there not much to mess with inside the tank. The amount of gravel to clean is reduced by the design and easily accessed by the design from beside the bed. External filters take care of everything else. The maintenance for them is from the outside.

Good luck with your plan! But I really think keeping them in an normally unused bathroom would be best. You can use that bathroom for your "needs" and have easy access time with them in there. They'll come to you because they'll see that you are the one feeding them. Treats help a lot. Too much open space will allow them to keep acting wild, and they will keep hiding. They'll "come down" faster and get used to you in a restricted space like a bathroom. If your plan doesn't work in a few days, try it this way. If that bathroom is hard to get to because of your knee, then keep them in the normally used bathroom. As you see, they find the liter box. If you have to move it, then all you'll have to do is carry them to it and they'll know where it is. Plus, I keep the food by the liter box. I won't bug you any more about it.
