I totally agree with you, it would be easier in one room.....but I really want them to know where their litter boxes are, and they only have access to two rooms in the basement. We have the other rooms shut off. I think they will be ok as soon as they get used to their new surroundings. They sure are cute....but all kittens are. I would have loved to take all of them....there probably were 20+ kittens and same number of adult cats. Made me sad again.

Well you wouldn't have a mouse problem.

Yep....it will be a few days before they will pose with us for pictures....I can guarantee that! Unless you want a picture of a squirming cat, trying to scratch whatever body part she can get too...I say she because the little girl is more feisty than the boy. He was already starting to purr when hubs picked him up.

Me too....and I agree, but once you earn the love of a female, the love is top notch. We found that out with Spice. She loved us, and showed it in so many ways. But we had to earn it....it was not just given.

I've found the girls to be more loving, in general. Funny how that works. Maybe because I'm more attracted to the little girls. Cats!!!, you pervs. And even little girl puppies.

I've been having computer probs on my laptop, got a virus ... it's a long story, please don't ask, lol.
I tried to uninstall the baddie files (spyware), but I'm going to have to snag one of my friends to come over and fix it ... or go to Craigslist.

Welp, since I missed you Beach dolls 'n hunks, I'll drop off a vid ... maybe some have seen it since it has gone viral ... sigh, I'm usually always to last one to see and/or know ... must get out more.

I'm glad I was not one of the unsuspecting victims in this nasty little prank, or I would look like this ........

Some ppl must have just waaaaay too much free time on their hands.

Hey, Beachers.....sorry to be so late. Been dealing with the kitties ever since getting them home. They are scared to death....we have to corner them to catch them and love on them. So we been sitting in the basement, waiting for some crumbs of attention from them. The little girl promptly got up inside the recliner and would not come out, the little boy went back in the crate and just stayed there. So we came upstairs, ate dinner, and then went back down to coerce them into loving us. We are keeping them in the basement until they get used to us and the litter boxes since that is where we keep the litter boxes. Do not want another Oreo on our hands. We did hold and pet them as much as we could but they definitely are on the wild side.

I did not back read but a couple of pages and I am about 5 pages behind so I will go back and see what I missed.

Glam - cats don't have to have their litter box just in one place - they just need to be able to find it. My advice since they are wild acting (and going up inside the recliner is just that) would be to put them in an unused bathroom or small room where they can't hide from you. A few days to a week should be long enough for them to adjust to you. If you don't force it now you could very well end up with inhabitants rather than pets. If they don't BOTH start coming around I would definitely separate them. You want them to rely on YOU for companionship, not each other. Just thinking with my fingers here....and speaking from experience. I'm so excited for you and your new babies!
