I can't say enough good things about my local vape shop. I could get my supplies cheaper buying online, but there is a definite advantage to having my local shop to go to that makes it worth it to go local. I was buying a new tank and before I paid for it, we tested it to make sure it was good. It wasn't, so the shopkeeper grabbed another and I left with a good tank instead of having it show up in the mail DOA and then having to wait for another to arrive.

There is also the advantage of having a tasting bar so that I can make sure I like the juice I buy and not end up wasting money on a juice that doesn't suit me.

It kinda makes me feel bad for those who talk about a 1-2 hour drive to get to a shop.

They get bonus points for having decent prices compared to the other shops in the area.

How many people love their local shop?

I love mine. I wish it were a bit closer, but at 45 minutes away it's still much better than what many other people have to deal with.

Furthermore, not only do they carry a wide range of juice from many different vendors -- The Vapor Chef, Suicide Bunny, DB Liquids, Jameson's, The Standard Vape, Nicquid, e-Liq Cube, Five Pawns, Epicus Nebula, Gremlin Juice, and their own house juice (and they will be adding even more) -- and every single flavor is available for sampling, their prices are at or near the same as many online vendors.

The customer service is also top notch.

Yes, I know I'm quite lucky.

Me too. They're not quite competitive with internet orders if you get free shipping but they beat any other B&M I've seen here or Albuquerque on device prices, and are pretty competitive on juices. They're happy to custom mix both base mixtures and nicotine content. They are called 4 Corners Vapors, which is not an especially imaginative name.

I love all my local vape spots. Everybody is nice and knowledgeable, I spilled my tank once in 'ecig 'n' vape' and the guy behind the counter had a paper towel in my face before I even looked up, and took my tank. He asked what flavor was in it (they make all their own) and I said that it was a different company's and he responded with, "no problem man, what flavor do you want in it then?"

I was blown away and he made a returning customer out of me. I go there just to hang out and talk shop sometimes when I'm bored.

Very fortunate to live in a hipster town - I've got 3 B&M's within 15 mins. Two of them are stellar, with juice bars and knowledgeable staff. The other is just starting, but should get there, too.

They've been great - providing advice and not really gouging on prices. It was through one of them that I got beyond the cig-a-likes, and they even turned me on to this forum. Young guys, too. I hope they do well, and judging by the 5x growth in the number of customers I see coming into their shops, I'm thinking they're going to.

My local shop is definitely FANTASTIC!!! There are a couple in my area and one is definitely better then the other. The other shop I will never goto again were jerks to me when I first started and was asking questions they didn't want anything to do with me and that was a horrible experience and they are such snobs they think they know it all and don't or they told me wrong to get me out no clue but could be a bit of both. The other shop I love peeps are excellent and have helped me so much and don't make me feel like a complete idiot

I'm fortunate to have many many b&m in my area. Some are better than others just like any other businesses. The majority of them are young people starting their own businesses and provide great service. I've ordered online from some juice companies and received great service too but no online companies are able to show me how to fill a carto when I started down that road or can provide the face to face experience of a b&m. Also if it's a new flavor I'm looking for or just want to see and hold something before I buy, that is worth it if it costs a bit more than online. The big one for me is INSTANT GRATIFICATION!!! No waiting, I can get my new stuff home and vape away. That is priceless

My one and only B&M opened last summer, and oh heaven! it's just 2 blocks from me! Family owned and operated (husband and wife, mothers-in-law, daughter, 2 sons (or possibly one son and one boyfriend). They all know their stuff, from cigalikes to provaris, have an ever-expanding selection of e-liquids, all available at the tasting bar, and I just learned they're arranging classes, so I'm finally going to learn how to rebuild my coils.

They are active members in SFATA and keep up on legislation and regulation. Prices are slightly higher than online but no higher than overhead would demand. AND, if they don't carry something, they will special order it. I just learned that they've been so successful they're opening several branch stores in the area.

Urban Vapor in West Palm Beach, FL, I love you!

I can say I'm very happy with my one and only local vapor lounge. He's a one man operation and does a great job. He also makes his own juices and they're delicious. I try to keep some on hand as a treat to myself every now and then, or to vape at night when I'm relaxing. I do my best to give him my business when I can afford to. I've bought a few clearos from him and several bottles of juice. One thing I really like is that he has cards that he initials each time you buy juice so after 5 purchases you get one bottle free. It's a sort of rewards program. He's also got over 130 flavors!

im walking distance from my local b&m but there are a bunch local to me. yes, i can order the stuff online and save money but i like going in there and just bs'ing with the employees. just chill n vape, try new juices, talk about builds..i dont mind spending a little more money there to stimuate business and awareness of vaping. for a lot of people (myself included) actually having a place to go n trying out things is a major factor in helping me quit cigarettes and continuing vaping. and i also hate waiting for stuff to come in the mail lol and they usually have what im looking for. if not that day in a day or 2.

I haven't been to my local vape shop in months. The good news is, he's gotten so much more in stock there. He even set up a tasting bar. He has regular batteries, twists, mods, a plethora of tanks, etc. I just went to pick up 2 evods...$21.18 later  I'm all for supporting local business, I even only get the majority of my groceries from local farmers. But man, I was a bit miffed at ten and change for a lil ole evod when I can get them for 5 online. Times are tough!

B&ms are nice. Visited a few in my area recently to see what's around. Both only have been around for 3 months. They are about 10 min away. 15 min away there are a few more I hope to check out in coming weeks. So far all don't seem to have great deals on hardware, but their juices are about on par with juice prices online after shipping. Plus no wait or steep time! One place mixes their own behind the counter (a bit sketchy in my opinion) but sells them for like $3 10 ml! Sure I could DIY for cheaper, but I don't want to hassle with that... Yet... Another shop said he had a lab that mixes his juice abiding to an alphabet soup of standard best practices. He had some good stuff too, but was a bit more proud of it... Definitely a good way to see what kind of juices you like though!!

I love all of my local B&M's. I think I may have developed a bad habit of visiting them on a regular basis. But it's so much nicer than buying online and waiting. And the fact that you can touch, feel and even try what you are going to buy before you buy it is priceless. Most of the B&M's sell different brands of eliquid too. So when I get tired of vaping one brand, I can just go to a different one. The choices are endless.

The only bummer is that some states and cities don't have any at this time. But I'm pretty sure in the next year or two that will change dramatically. It wasn't long ago that there were no B&M's in the SF Bay Area, and now there are literally dozens, and maybe even more that I don't even know about.

I love the b&m by my place. It's about 10 minutes drive Away and it's in a decent size town in the downtown area - but parking is pretty good!

The prices are competitive or generally equal to online vendors.

They are very knowledgable, it's nice to be able to talk to someone who has the same level of knowledge - adds for long convos.

And of corse it's nice to see how many capers are in your local area!!!
