My friend that I've told you about, well he is resistant to use the tanks. And I know the difference between the Standard Cartomizer and the XL Cartomizer is the XL holds 1.5ml while the standard holds 1.0ml juice.

Can someone educate me on the Low Resistance Cartomizers? What is the difference and which do you prefer?

The LR would get hotter with the same battery. Lower resistance with same voltage = more watts. Should produce more vapor and maybe more/different flavor from same juice. Each juice would react differently of course. This also means the battery would not last as long between charges. I haven't used the carts so I can't give a preference.

Like someone mentioned in another thread the whole crack pipe thing......I'm sure after using the Cartomizers for a few weeks he would definitly appreciate the mini tanks but for starting out it's the whole cig-a-like theme. I guess it really is just a noobie thing, it's where I started the 1st time, but the mini tanks wasn't an option back then. Analog to G-6 w/Cartomizers, then on to mini tanks then the Triton & Triton tank then the vv battery.

I guess some need the baby steps to begin with, it is a big change for anyone.

Looking back, it's amazing to me how long I went with the G6's, resisting the Ego-thing, until the Tritons finally came out, now, like many, my G6 batteries just collect dust and I've banished those G6 chargers so I don't have (another) charging mistake!!
The LR carto's do help the G6's get more of a hit and vapor and for the G6 only vaper it is noticable, but, for me (heavy vapor) they drained the regular batteries too fast so I ended up buying a few of the XL batteries that are available in black only (at least back then) and would use the LR carto's with the XL battery. One nice all black setup, at least back then!

As far as the carts go, the LR's are actually Really Good.
I picked up two five-packs at the beginning of my journey, and they don't get a lot of use, but sometimes I load em up with some -Prime15+a few drops of AiV's "White Rabbit"- or -Kringle's- and attach em to my otherwise unused, lonely G6's & bring em out on bike rides.

I bring my Tritons too, but this way I have more flavors on hand to swap out with without having to screw/unscrew tanks.

Now I've got my VV (lanyard around the neck), 2 x 650's (leather VEA case), 2 x 400's & auto G6 + manual G6 in pocket on my bicycle cup holder... all loaded up with different flavors.

(I leave my 900 at home in case I get accosted by a band of Halon plunderers.:D)

Ive been vaping since Aug. 2012. I started with clearos (top coil) went to bottom coil tanks... All of em... Then recently started using cartomizer tanks-and LOVE EM. I use LR cartos and am digging em. Better than anything ive used. I have only rebuilt protank/t3s/evod heads-not a lot of actual rba stuff (coming soon as I live shiney new vape gear, ADDICTED LOL) but seriously. I get more flavor and vapor with these cartos/carto tanks and it is simpler than all the other stuff (imo) and im enjoying them. The battery life in all my ego and vv/vw batterirs is great as well. Its all trial and error.bug learning curve with vaping. Can be as simple or as complicated as we let it be. Good luck finding your fave vape gear! :)
