Lowering nicotine level?

okay so quick question: im used to vaping on a 3mg liquid and recently ran out however a friend of mine gave me liquid she no longer uses but its an 18 and a 12. I was wondering how much of the store bought vg/pg i should mix the liquid with to get it to a 3mg? I have the store brand bought from my local cvs and wanted to use that to bring down. Any info would be greatly appreciated thanks!

If my math is correct, 12/3 = 4, so you want 1 part 12 mg plus 3 parts of the 0 mg. And 18/3 = 6, so 1 part of 18 mg plus 5 parts of the 0 mg liquid. Remember, the flavor is going to be watered down!

Just curious, but what constitutes a "part"? And i dont unfortunately have a 0 in that flavor :/

By "0 mg" he means the PG or VG you bought from CVS.

And for 1 part nic, 4 parts 0:

If you're mixing 20 ml of liquid, use 5 ml of the 12mg, and 15 mg of the 0mg. (Add 3 times as much PG or VG as the original liquid).

With the 18mg, add 5 times as much PG/VG as the original liquid.

But the flavors of both are going to be fairly weak...
