Aw man, just beaming here! I'm so happy that there's so much agreement in these 801's! Angus, you rock!
I been using the 2.5 semi on the Switchbox steady since the adapters came in. 801 to 510 is like night and day. When I meet customer's I let them try both using the same liquid and it's just mindblowing everytime. Next step is discontinuing the Mini's and shortening the semi's to a perfect fit for any drip tip dubbing them the New Mini. They will be about 32.22mm. The current Mini's are 31.10mm so we're not sacrificing much at all, just ensuring that they are all drip tip compatible. :D

Cool! I'm gonna have to try that on the BeGo sans cone.

I gather you are enjoying 5V :) I am glad.

Issac,

Please don't adjust the Mini 2ohm 801 Issac, I don't mind dripping with the stock soft tip that comes with these and popping it off dripping into the Atty up to the top of the bridge and putting it back on and vaping it dry, you can put so much liquid in these you dont need a drip tip, the specs on this Atty are perfect.!!!

Lol No worries Mwa, you probably won't even be able to tell the difference. It's only 1 tiny itty bitty millimeter. Probably about the thickness of a single strand of hair.

Hey VM, LTNS what's up Doc? Any particular reason for giving up the vape?

I got sick with a bacterial infection in my lungs (lots of coughing involved), stayed with me for weeks and weeks. Finally antibiotics knocked it out, but even after the bug was gone, it took quite some time fully recover (only recently am I back to normal). I stopped vaping early on with the infection because my sore throat and cough was noticeably worse with vaping than without. Actually that was before I knew it was a bacterial infection.

But then coincidentally, my brother (also vapes) ended up in a hospital with a super nasty case of pneumonia! They put him on serious IV drip antibiotics for a few days, and huge pills for much longer. He's still not fully recovered.

We're kinda wondering if vaping somehow made us more susceptible to lung pathogens?

Madness! There you are! Good for you!! We been missing you something fierce!
You bet! I miss my bedtime stories with VM. Man we had some good chats.

Goldielocks has been busy sampling Swedish SNUS these days, but she does miss the plumes of vape :)

Oooo... a truly drip tip friendly mini would be just perfect for an occasional vape!

Very interesting my dear friend. I have developed an intolerance to PG. Hope all works out for you and your brother

VV BeGo sans cone :)

Very nice...a box mod with a coned atty housing! I was wondering why you referred to it as a "BeGo"... now i see! I recognize that circuit board from the MOD'ding forum. That board is such a nice fit for the vaping use-case. Very fitting that Switched chose a switching voltage regulator :)

Hey, I remember when once you said something like "never shall a variable voltage device touch my lips" :) Now look at you (be) go!

I resemble that remark

Yes I remember that conversation VM. I also posted in the Mamu thread that VM would never let me live it down

That baby is set at 4.2V. I have my eGo at 3.2, my lizard at 3.7/4.2V, my box mod at 4.5V and my lizard and P18 for 5.5/6V. Now that I have a true 3.7V eGo between the BeGo and the WeGo, outside the P18 that is all I use. I am waiting for a new connector for my lizard, which treats me to 6V on 801s.

Ever try a 5 or 6 volt eGo. Goldielocks would be surprised ans amazed num, num with a 901 ;) <--- wink. I hate the new winkies. Hey staff change the smilies please.

Once those new Minis come out it'll be the only atty I use. The soft rubber tips melt, warp and then fall out. Hard whistle tips and drip tips don't go all the way in and then make a melted plastic taste. Slightly longer and they will be unbeatable. After almost 4 months one of the 3 I have finally died. Happened when a delrin tip got pushed fully in, I was quite sad.

Any chance of getting them in black?

I've been using the 2ohm Mini for a couple of weeks now at around 4.5V and the soft rubber tip has not warped or melted at all, don't know if it's just me and my vaping style but there just fine it seems to me, I love these dang 2ohm Mini's and the soft rubber tips and dont even mine pulling the tip off to drip and vape, they just hold so much liquid it seems compared to other Attys, either way don't make to much of a change Issac, please, just a tad taller if anything at all, and please keep the stock soft rubber tips.

How was the TH on these?

Red, these 2ohm Minis are the Bomb, TH on these is mostly controlled by the juice and the voltage you set these Attys at, I find that 4.2-4.5 is best with these, they also put out more flavor then any other Atty I have ever used running them at this voltage.

Thanks, man. I saw another post of yours about these that lead me to here. Since the minis are out of stock, I was thinking about trying the semi.
