WOW Missed this whole page!
They're almost here. They landed in NY just yesterday. All Semi 801's have been shortened by a few millimeters to be just above the mini by 1mm. It wouldn't be noticeable to the eye, but Will be noticeable by a drip tip. They will also be coming in HV 3.5 as well as LR 2.0.

Dang Isaac I would have hoped the semis would remain where they were at, and the minis lengthened by 1mm (heat) to accept a drip tip. This may be a moot point with LR but could be problematic once we get into HV.

There is a reason why I am saying this. Each atty has its special characteristics that I hope we can find when we use them e.g:
  • 801s = great flavour, good vapour, cooler vape;
  • 510s = good flavour, good vapour decent throat hit;
  • 901s = great flavour, decent vapour, good TH; and
  • 306s = great flavour, great vapour, great TH.

Whilst some folks have found Nirvana at a given voltage and given resistance day in and day out, many of us still mix it up. The latter is dependent on situation and mood of the moment. I particularly found the semi to be in between the heat of the mini and the coolness of the standard 801. Having said that, the aesthetics of the mini and even the semi are welcome when compared to the standard 801.

All in all though, it is great we have a huge selection to choose from.

Sounds like a full review on Issac's Atties is indeed in need here Switched I think there's a lot more to all of this as per the characteristics to each of these Atty's depending on how they are being run and fed. I happen to find this 2ohm Mini @ the top of my list using a VV Bottm feeder, the flavor and vapor being produced from running this Atty on my bottom feeding variable voltage mods and heck even my regular VV Mods blows the others away, they have to be run at the 4.2-4.5 for peek performance too and of course its all subjective but I've found my new love lately with these Atty's. I need to add here I've become really picky, spoiled, as well as addicted to being able to dial an Atty in to its max sweet spot using VV so if your using these at just 3.7 you surely will not get the full affect of this Atomizer that I am.

...I particularly found the semi to be in between the heat of the mini and the coolness of the standard 801...

If used at the same voltage, I totally agree with this observation. That's expected since all three atties have different resistances:

Mini: 2.0 ohm
Semi: 2.5 ohm
Standard 3.0 ohm (about)

Absolutely true on both replies. One thing we need to put in the equation is how far your lips are away from the coil. (heat). I prefer both the LR 306 and HV 306 with the DT I designed out of a CE2 carto compared to the top cut off the cart that comes with it, or even the 306 DT. I know this is all subjective, but it puts my lips where I want 'em (let's not go there).

I also take into account that both of you like your heat, and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that either.

I'm in full agreement with you on this as my CE2 designed DT for the 306 is longer then stock too and only use that style with a 306 too simply because of how hot that Atty gets and how close your lips are to the Bridge, I don't like my vape to Hot switcher but you really don't have this issue with the Mini 801 I find

I think each Atty has its home for different Mods I just find this Mini 2 ohm to be the most favorable and it puts out clouds of vapor. I have a few different Mods and have of course ran each style of Atty on all of them, these Mini 2ohm just seem to have hit my sweet spot for my Bottom feeding VV mods

These are still currently my favorite atties to use.

I will shamefully admit that I intentionally killed two of them recently while testing out a new mod. If it helps, their deaths were quick (less than a second) and painless.

The funerals will be held this weekend. Instead of sending flowers, you can donate money to my PayPal account, and I will donate it to their favorite charity... which happens to be my e-cig fund.

i hate showing up late. isaac I am sending you the instructions as well as the insulation wafer(kill Switch). any piece of plastic or paper will work, just slide it in between the battery n the spring to interupt the circuit and that is your kill switch to prevent it from firing in your pocket. i also found the extra bottle and feed assembly so its basically the extra's kit he sells with each new phidias. I hope it will give you as much enjoyment as it did me and again its my way of saying thank you for all that you have done for me and so many others. you have been a joy to deal with personally and professionally and I will ciontinue to support you and your company in all future endeavors. that being said I'm dying over here with no mini 801's and the new semi's brutha!!! lol

Hey guys, I wanted to clarify on your concerns about Mini being too close. We have to keep in mind that the over all ohm rating of the atomizer plays a significant role in combination with high voltage to lower the dispersing of heat. On a similar topic with the Mini 80, they just came in today. Once again, SLB has foolishly not listened to my specifications and have made them all into Original Mini sized, thus not having them Standard Drip tip compatible.

Those are both beautiful. That's pretty okay of you yellowman to do that. All I ever give Isaac are complaints. :):):)
UGH I know! If it's not hate mail, it's whining, if it's not crying, it's moaning, ever time! :unsure: 5Card with 5 huge problems. :laugh:
Obviously, I'm a dope, and for some reason didn't realize that standard drip tips wouldn't fit an 801 atty. Now that I picked some up, I'm stuck finding a source for ones that will fit. I could mod my 510s but that seems kinda silly. Isaac, any chance you have 801 dt's and I'm just not seeing them on the site?
Fear not IA! (those are my initials btw!) These guys are benefiting a lot from these atoms as they Do carry drip tips that are compatible for Mini's. I don't really know what they look like, nor have I spoke to them, but I do recommend them out for carrying these. The VP series isn't bad either. :D DRIP TIP

I text him naked pictures of myself but he never thanks me for it... So I'm really surprised to see that he likes wood :facepalm:

switch , next to the phidias your box holds up extremely well. most things next to fono's work look terrible. your very talented....so are you gonna list these attys isaac or will there be a delay waiting for the respec'd mini's? I mean if 10 or so of these mini's were to fall off the truck on the way back to slb and end up in my shopping cart, I wouldn't be mad..lol. good thing these last a long time or I would be worried. unlike angus I do not subject my attys to capitol punishment. I have been known to make an example of one in front of the others but nothing as final as death.

Damn those box mods look gorgeous....... Where do you get em? I would love one that took a 18650 battery ( the new 2900 mah AW protected).... you are one lucky dude.

The one on the left is from R&R and the one on the right is my personal favorite, the Phidias by Fonosmoak (Fono for short, LOL). You can find threads for both of them on the suppliers forum. R&R opens up ordering for a mad dash sale when they clear out their backlog so you have to watch the thread closely. Fono takes custom orders during certain times (check the Phidias thread) and will usually have 30 or so units for sale via direct email inquiries and the thread every couple of weeks. I love the Phidias and custom ordered both of them to get specific woods and to get left-handed versions (my second is being built as we speak). There are lots of fans of both mods so acquiring them can take some luck.

BTW - both run off of single 18650's or
