I've been using 1 LR atty for the last 10 days since I bought it, and it's still going strong. I use it with my eGo, and it's fantastic! I clean it with the dry burn method, then make sure I have plenty of juice in my carts. I like it much better than even the blank 510 cartomizers I bought. IMHO, it gives a better TH than my cartos.
Well...just blew my first LR atty from Totally Wicked...weird thing is...it was the second one I started using when my first one was soaking in vinegar. I switched to it (brand new), lasted less than 2 weeks.
I think it may have happened when I tried to blow it out/dry burn it.
I've been using the same 2 LR Atty's from NHaler for 2 months and there still going strong, I think this is for a few reasons. I use them on an Ego 3.1v compared to 3.7v Batt, second I use a dripping tip and keep them soaking wet always. Used like this they have been performing flawlessly from day one.!!!!
The voltage probably helps a lot. The first one i started using is still going...just soaking in vinegar right now. I guess everyone is right...these TW attys are hit or miss...
I Dislike TW, and wont order from them anymore period, from there goods to the CS I just have issues with them, I ordered 25 LR's from Drew over at NHaler and thought I would burn through them but was wrong and like em a lot, I also like the little derlin insulator on the bottom of his LR Atty's. Keeping them soaking wet and I mean soaking wet like fluid filled in them up to the bridge almost has made these babies last for me. Most of the people I hear saying ( These LR's xxuck is because they simply run them to dry same with regular Atty's ) and its why they burn them out. I also think running them on the Ego/Tornado/Riva @ 3.1v helps out compared to running them @ 3.7v and the combo of both just works perfectly for me.!!!
I haven't had any issues with TW before...and i do like their juice a lot. Thats the liquid that got me started on ecigs in the first place.
I'm using a Bauway now that my first TW atty blew out and my other is still soaking in white vinegar.
I think the Bauway LR atty has a lower bridge and is not wicking the foam properly. That and its a little wider and doesnt sit the cartridges quite right. I think I might try those nhaler attys next.
Oh...and 3.7 on LR is the only substitute for me when im not running on a normal atty at 6v. I like using 3.7 since the batteries last a lot longer between charges.
I use an eGo batt, and the LR attys. I came up with my own version of the PTB mod, and it works great with the LR attys. I clip a 1/4 inch piece of a straw--I use coffee stirrers--put it in the cart, and then put my accordion folded PTB on top of it. I can fill it with about 15 drops of juice, and it won't leak. I don't have to top it off as often, either.
I get clouds of vapor, and great TH. I've finally discovered a method that works for me. I was starting to get a little frustrated! Hope this helps!
Ok now im really getting annoyed with the LR attys. I ordered two from nhaler and have the same exact issue as the Bauway ones. Bridge is too low, won't wick properly, carts don't fit right.
The 510 carts fit fine on the Totally wicked LR attys. The 901's fit tight but great.
Neither 510 carts or 901 carts fit right or wick properly on the Bauway or Nhaler attys.
The one thing i noticed is the barrel/casing of the TW attys are noticably shorter in comparison.
I think im going back to true HV vaping. I like that 3.7v lasts so much longer between charges but if i can't get these attys to properly wick or work right, then i have no choice.
I've been using the LR attys from vaporescence with both stock filler and white foam. No problems. Getting good th and vapor. They do go through juice though. Have 2 that have been going for a couple of weeks. No problem with fit.
Okay, somehow I fell out of the loop. I was in the hospital for a few days, but, how did I miss all the hoopla over LR attys??
First of all, WHAT are they, (besides attys).
Thanks y'all....
