Was there only one person to contact. Seems strange that a company with enough orders to need a waiting list would just disappear. Great prices is not enough to keep you in business though. Any business has overhead, and if you don't manage correctly you will fail. With no word it could be anything though.

what killed it was offering his juice at such a low price that it flooded him with orders and he could not keep up. i along with others advised him to shut the website down until he caught up with things. he did for a short time in late march or early april but opened it back up and offered more items and soon was swamped again with orders. this time around he had employees quit and he shut the site down. Chris had the best intentions but it got way too big way too fast. during all this DRAMA i got 3 orders with 120 ml bottles of excellent juice
that are all ADV for me at rock bottom prices. i say chris`s intentions were all good and he will make things right with everyone. peace o

ut everyone. :toast:

I get my Swedish fish and banana milk shake from Killer Juice. I love them both.

What flavors did you get? I want to try their Mountain Dew flavors since Walt said they can do the Game Fuel flavor but the cheesecakes were disappointing and I'd rather not lose more money on flavorless flavors.

A guy further back in this thread said he got his on 6/2!
But I think that order was shipped just prior to the decision to close. It probably was the final order to got out.

L7 is done. Kaput. If you're still waiting on their juice fairy to magically fill your order I don't think it's going to happen.

Order ID is #5594 from 5/1/14. Just a couple of 120ml bottles of juice for $32. Pretty much lost all hope of receiving but haven't bothered to request a refund. Made a couple of requests for info when their site was still up but no response. Probably silly of me but I assume that this guy will refund my money if he is not going to fill my order. I don't feel that this is an unrealistic expectation.

My thought process is this: Lucky 7 has a history of being unreliable. Two out of three of my orders took over a month to fill. We heard from the owner every once in a while with excuses, that frankly were all signs he didn't know how to run a business. Credit card charge backs can kill a business and put Lucky 7 in a bigger hole than they already are, but it think it's clear that he has no intentions of delivering liquid or refunds. There likely isn't enough cash in the business account to issue everyone a refund, but he clearly doesn't care about being responsible with your money so.....

In short, I used to be understanding. But file a dispute with your credit card company, and if it bankrupts Lucky 7, so be it. He was going to kill his own business eventually anyway.

I agree with what you've said. I'm sorry for anyone who tries hard to start a business for themselves and has it fail, for whatever reason. That said, charity begins at home. I don't have unlimited funds to give to an online stranger who started a business. I have myself, and my family to think of.

I paid with my credit card, which has rules in place to protect me from situations like this. I filed a dispute with the credit card company and received my refund on my account. It is now up to Lucky 7 to deal with his creditors (the credit card companies who processed the orders).

yeah, unfortunately, I have had to request a dispute process from my credit card company. I also run a small business and what I just don't understand is that I wrote several times being very understanding, saying I would wait, or accept refund, whichever was easier...but sadly, no response. Looks like he is just ignoring everyone.

Yeah. That is my concern. If he said " hey guys, I am issuing refunds across the board, my business is shutting down". I would be disappointed, but understand. It's the failure to respond that I personally find insulting.

Hope springs eternal, however, if you haven't got your order, I suggest contacting your CC company while there is time left to make a claim. Hoping for a refund or actually getting your order from a company that has shut it's doors seems a bit to hopeful.

You're right. Initiated CC dispute this morning. No need for it to have come to this had the company communicated directly with customers. All the info I've gotten on this issue has been 2nd and 3rd hand from this very thread. With the site down, folks can't communicate directly with the company not that they actually responded to questions anyway.

Looks like we will not be opening back up. We are having to file bankruptcy with the company. We are issuing refunds to those who have been waiting, you may want to call your credit card companies/banks to speed up the process as our credit card company is slow at processing refunds and it takes up to 7 business days normally. Sorry everyone...
