Since switching to the ecig I have been using my inhalers a lot less, coughing less, weezing less, I have also been able to walk into two stores and actually go shopping with out using my rescue inhaler. For me this is huge. As for jogging I will never be able to jog. As for bike riding I have a goal of being able to ride a recumbent trike. Hope this helps. :)

Hello All,
I was curious... after quitting analogs, did you get your "lungs back"? I mean, with vaping, you are still breathing stuff into your lungs, after all. Can you do exercise, like bike riding, or jogging without getting winded like you did when you were a "smoker"? Thanks !

In one word, YES! I considered myself in good shape prior to quitting analogs; but shortly after I quit, I realized I really wasn't. It was the little things I noticed. I used to get a little winded from going up a flight of stairs, wrestling around with my children, simple house cleaning, getting ready for bed, etc.

After the first week, I noticed I wasn't getting winded from all those activities and it keeps getting better. Now I have a huge burst of energy and I'm starting to workout again. :)

I've been analog free for nearly 2 weeks now and although I do not feel a huge difference in my breathing I walked to one of my classes this week, a new resolution, it's all uphill and although I still got out of breath, I recovered a lot faster that I used to. I seem to remember an old physical education teacher saying this was a good sign of improvement in cardiovascular fitness.

Definitely yes!!!! Doing p90x and Chalean Extreme sporadically and I have to say that it's way better now!!!
And no more of that weird smelling sweat, something like moist dirt, and not as much sweat (which I thought was kinda weird, until I read something about analogs constricting your veins, which somehow made sense to me)
I've only been vaping about a month now.
And in general I seem to be able to get more done, as far as chores, like I just have more energy or maybe I'm just so damn proud of myself!!!!

I used to "play" tennis while I was still on analogs.. doubles only (indoors in the winter). The spring league is now starting, and I'm cruising through the singles ladder. Really the main reason I started researching the eCig.. to get off the analogs. At some point, I'm thinking I'll be able to put PVs away.. but I see a huge difference already after about 2 mos analog free.

I'm at about 5 months without a cigarette and can breathe deeper and fuller. I've had a few extra colds this winter, and the molds/mildews here in Oregon have been bothering me a little more . . . I take it because my lungs are starting to repair and the irritation from smoking isn't covering those symptoms up anymore. I had issues in the winter since I was a child . . . I need to move back to Arizona, LOL. But, yeah . . . fuller, deeper breaths, and not winded as easily. Now I just need to start getting my cardio in.

Still coughing up some lung cookies after a week but seems to be getting better. I'm noticing some differences during and after working out. Not sweating as much (Geez I suppose I better step it up), and when done to open locker and not smell analog smoke is unbelievable. After working out I would fire up a heater on the way out of the parking lot. Great.
