Like most others it depends on the airflow of my device and the ohms and heat put off by the device. In my drippers (relatively anywhere from 0.3 - 0.5 ohms) I will lung inhale. In my kayfun, Russian 91% and my old aerotanks I use mouth to lung. Also lung hit on my fogger v4 because the airflow is much wider than the kayfuns.

Funny this thread came up.. About a week or so ago, going through the FAQs and guides and whatnot on here, I came across the sticky on properly vaping.. Ive ALWAYS inhaled with my mouth and then drew it into my lungs the entire 20+ years Ive smoked.. Im reading this vaping guide that tells me thats the way I should be vaping, and thought 'Wait you mean people actually smoke their cigs like hitting a joint?', thats crazy man. Its no wonder all the damage some people do to their respiratory system..
Just tried it for kicks with my ecig and man that does not feel good taking a lung hit off those.. I cant even imagine 20 years of smoking analogs like that, id be on a respirator by now!

I always used the lung inhale on the analogs which I smoked for approx 30 years. I. Still new to vaping. Going on my third month. I'm still perfecting my technique. I have found myself mouth drawing and then doing a quick lung inhale. I usually exhale through my mouth and nose. Use my nose to exhale now more than I ever did with the analogs. Much more flavor sensation for me with the nose exhale. :)

I used to inhale directly to my lungs with cigarettes. But have changed to the mouth way with vaping. The cloud is denser with vapor therefore when I did a direct lung inhale with vaping I ended up in a huge coughing fit. So I switched to the mouth before inhaling and it stopped the coughing. Not entirely sure why it works but it does. 4 weeks of vaping this way its natural to me now, not awkward like it was when I first started vaping.

That's funny. I was always a mouth inhale cigarette smoker, very rarely, but dometimes did a lung inhale, but when Istarted vaping 50/50 18 mg, i would start choking drawing the vapor from my mouth to my lungs, and i found that if I drew it straight to the lungs, no choking. Then I also found I can dothe mouth method with 100% VG. Experimented around and settled with a 30/70 mix I can do either with, but still tend to lung inhale to get more vapor.

And THIS:
-
Digital or analog, I've always been a deep lung hitter. I feel I get best overall control (and IMO best flavor) of intake 'cause as I draw, I also take in air around the tip and da lips. I think the big difference between mouth & lung hitters is "do you seal your lips around the tip?"

Not even going to lie, I have absolutely no idea which method I use. I used to smoke analogs through the mouth and into the lungs, then out through the nose. When I vape, I think I inhale straight to the lungs, because when I try to inhale from the mouth to the lungs, nothing actually happens and I feel the throat hit whilst taking a draw. In either case, this way works well for me. I can taste the juice as it passes my by tongue to my lungs and then again when it comes out my nose. I also occasionally exhale through the mouth and get even more flavor that way.

When I smoked analogs, all I did was do lung hits. But when switching to vaping, I found that it felt like it was tearing my throat up. I do love the feel of lung hits, so now I do a half/half type thing where I do a partial lung inhale, then pull the rest of it into my mouth first before the final inhale.

Sounds kind of weird now that I'm trying to explain it. Oh well.

I am almost 5 years "analog free." And I *think* I'm still a mouth vaper. But right now I'm having a hard time tasting the fruitier juices I have vs the low - nicotine menthol that I have in one of my 3 tanks that I rotate through my itastevv3. I can vape a Green Smoke e-cig with no problem, and get my quick nicotine fix. I am clearly doing something wrong with my PV, and I hope to sort it out as my desire to blow billowy clouds is increasing, lol.
