I'm a long time pipe, hookah and cigar smoker who saw a lot of his cigarette smoking friends picking up e-cigs (usually the branded L88s, like Blu). I used to smoke cigs, but moved to the others to try and reduce my exposure to cigs and such. I tried a Blu, and decided this could be even better for me, so I got on the Internet 'round Thanksgiving and found these forums. Lots of good information here, and I dove deep into the reams of information. After doing some thinking, I settled on the Vapor King branded KR808D-1, mainly on the strength of the recommendations and the very personal brand of customer service.
I ordered an Ultimate Manual Kit (w/one auto and one manual battery, just to try them out) and a couple of boxes of cartomizers, with a note to get the "Miscellaneous" mix for the kit carts. I placed the order last Tuesday (very late), and got my order that Friday. Which is really, really fast for me.
Out of the box, this thing was fantastic. I ordered Mint and RY4 in 8mg and 18mg strengths. The Mint I fell in love with immediately. I had several inquires about it at work, and passed out a couple of cards. It even made an appearance at our holiday party. I got several other flavors in various strengths (8, 11, 16 and 18mg), some of which I like (Orange juice), and some not so much(Coffee). Also, my USB charger died on Sunday. So, I placed another order for an XL battery, a "Shortie", and some 0 nic carts and noted the charger had failed and who I should send it back to. This was on Sunday. The SAME DAY Steve personally emails me and says they will take care of it in my package.
I got my package today, which is everything I order (plus a little extra, thanks guys!) and my new charger, which works like a champ. I am VERY impressed with Vapor4Life and I am proud to recommend this product to my friends and co-workers. I don't post much, but I read these forums a lot and wanted to put my $0.02 in.
And to Steve, Mark, Marino, Leaford, and all the rest at Vapor4Life, you guys are top notch, Grade A, 100% awesome sauce. Great product, great service, would buy again! A+++++! I'm a total vaping n00b, but I think I made the correct decision in skipping all the others and going with Vapor4Life's Vapor King.
Now, a couple of questions for all of you: I saw the "Cart swap" thread stickied at the top. Do people use that? I have some carts with flavors I'm not thrilled with or are too strong for my tastes and would LOVE to swap them out to people who will use them. Also, I've got a lot of...drainage down the back of the ol' throat. At first I thought it was the vaping (and that I might have a PG reaction), but even if I don't vape for many, many hours, it remains. It's not painful or scary, just irritating, and I've had similar reactions to things like "weather changes". Probably nothing, but I figured I'd ask the experienced folks here. Thanks!
