I found out some of what happened yesterday. Apparently someone hung themself from the tree in front yard. No details ave to wait for newspaper.

Long day at work and RL (real life)<<for Dave - once I got home. Did my best to at least keep up, but hard to stealth read, lot of traffic through our office today...

I cannot imagine, well, I actually CAN imagine, in fact, I know because years ago I worked for a photo lab, way back when there was film to be developed. We did the processing for the local coroner, and I saw way more than I'd have liked to. But at least what I saw were pictures, not first hand.

My seeds sprouted in the dark - they only need sunlight from a windowsill once they are sprouted and you want them to turn green.
I used this
It has a lid, so I just put the seeds in, rinsed then 2-4 times a day, let the water drain out the little holes, and dumped the excess water from the lower dish. There is a lid on top as well. They say different seeds will be ready to eat anywhere from 3 to 7 days. Anyway, I let them get large enough to have to push down to put the lid on and then I let them sit in a window sill for 30 minutes for 2 days in a row to turn green. Once they are as large as I wanted them, I put them all in a large bowl of water and shook the sprouts gently to get the seed hull off and then I put them in a bowl in the refrigerator, like a lettuce crisper bowl with a lid. I just had some in a salad tonight and they were great.
We had open house today with 2500 students, so I am beat... going to crash soon. I hope everyone had a great day and a very relaxing night!
