I noticed it in the kitchen. When I turned on the garbage disposal, the water came back up on the other side of the sink. So I used the plunger and seemed to get everything going.

Noticed a bit of slowing a little later so I went to get the plunger again. That's when I noticed the water coming up in the tub.
Hubby is looking into it now. I've done what I could

City water and sewage. We've been here less than a year. I doubt the former tenants did ANYTHING to this place. If this continues, we will have to call the landlord. We're renting.

The sewer and storm sewer "should" be separate. Depends on how old the street infrastructure is.
