That was the last time that I saw her, Dale. I was quite ill at that time and I just couldn't work anymore, so I quit my job. A few weeks after I left the bank, she sent me a brief note and in it she told me that I still had a chance to "kiss" a married woman. She said "kiss", but I knew what she meant. Oh, that happened to one of my uncles. He was nearly beaten to death and spent weeks in the hospital and months recovering at home. He wouldn't tell the police who did it and why, but we all knew why.
