Nah, you aren't gonna scare me off. I was just talking about that inaccurate comment you made about yourself!

I loved the other stuff!!!

No FiMD (Foot in Mouth Disease - :)) either, I'm just REALLY hungry atm and that cake was killing me!

In fact, I gotta get a quick bite to eat ... BRB.

    Awwww ....

Okay  Never mind the looking for innocent kisses
Worse than looking for Kate Upton photos:oops:

So, what did you find to eat?

Did you see what I did to your poor cotton wick you sent me?

LOL! That is so true ... sometimes internet searches come back with stuff that isn't at all what you were looking for!!

It took me a while to find anything ... I had forgotten that I was supposed to stop by the grocery store. :( I finally located some turkey sausages that weren't too far out of date! Threw them in the oven with some tater tots and called it dinner! :)

No, what happened to your wicks? No worries though, I can always whip some more up for you. Those were just meant as a sampler anyway to see which ones you liked best.

    This happened:facepalm:
I should have started with something stronger:laugh:

You best get to the store then, that sounds like one of my lazy supper's ;)

NICE family you got there Chim :D

    :p

So ... I take one of those knock-off rda's & remove the wick/coil (which I never used btw) cause I could tell just from lookin' at the coil it wasn't gonna be any good. :D

I get it off ... easy peasy :2cool:

Then I start tryin' to get the new one on ...... had no idea I was that shaky  need a vise or something to hang on to that little thing :grr:

Anywhoo, I struggle around with that thing for quite a few minutes there ... finally get it on there!
    Ah Ha! No sweat :2cool:

Stick it on an eGo battery & fire'er up ........ nada :( Hummm ...... maybe it's the resistance:confused:

So I go get my ZMax and set it on RMS, screw the rda on there & fire'er up ....

POOF!!!!! Burnt that sucker right up!!!
I would be:mad: but my  at how fast it happened tickled me to death!:lol::lol::lol:

And now you know the rest of the story:lol:

Awww ... hope you can make her feel better, bet you can :)

Thanks Dale. I'm trying but it's going to take time. She just found out that her boyfriend of 2 years was cheating on her. I've always known that he wasn't the one. Too many things just didn't add up. Plus he's been dating her for that long & has never met any of the family. He only lives 30mins away from them. That's never a good sign. I just hate it for her. My sisters 36. She really wants to settle down & get married & have another child. Ugggh!

Nooooooooooo Dale........wwwwwwwwwwait!! It's a trick, it's just a ploy to get you into the bathroom......

    Hehehe!! Go get em Sparky!

Okay, well DH wants to watch TV. So I'm going to say goodnight. y'all.
    Sleep well. :)

    Nite Nite Lori:wub:

Can you believe it Haze! She's rebuilding. Now try & convince her to get an Igo-L for her mechanicals. I already told her I'd build her some coils for it.

Ah okay ... I see. Did you remember to soak the wick first? That's the one thing about cotton wicks, they will fry if not saturated and usually, take the coil with them.

Yes, a table mounted vise is a good thing to have for working on small devices. I also put a ego-510 adapter on the atty to give me a little more area to grip. I find that a pair of tweezers works good for helping coax the wires into place.

Thinking back, I probably should have left the legs longer on those wicks; I think I might have trimmed them to the length I'm used to.

Actually, that was one of the better dinners that I've had this week! :w00t:

Awww, I feel for your sister ... that's too bad but better to find out now I guess:(

I am NOT rebuilding! LOL's, I used the coils Haze made ... although the one I did yesterday went on smooth as a baby's .... :D

No  I realized my mistake after the fact!
The wire's are plenty long :) I've not had a problem with them.
Although that first time was the only time I had the shake's like that so it was probably
just one of my "shakes" I get every once in a while ... should have drank a coke first I guess

Now that's just sad Haze ... make's me want to cook for you :(

Absolutely! The Igo-L would be perfect for her new mechanical; it has more room to maneuver and it holds more juice so you don't have to drip quite so frequently. The flavor is still very good too!

Chim keeps telling me to get one of those & I keep forgetting what it's called
I'll get one soon ... which mechanical are you guys talking about anyway?
    Zmax, KTS, or Chi-you?
 I can't even believe I have these things!

Oh, and Chim? The Chi-you is growing on me more than I thought it would :)

Yep, that stinks Chim ... but at least she didn't marry the guy! That dude clearly wasn't the one for her.

I am NOT rebuilding! LOL's, I used the coils Haze made ... although the one I did yesterday went on smooth as a baby's .... :D

I guess I don't like to go to the grocery store anymore either ... course there is always stuff in the deep freeze
if I'ld just get it out & do something with it

Oh, and Chim? The Chi-you is growing on me more than I thought it would :)

Technically the Zmax is a Mod since it has built-in protection and electronics whereas a Mechanical is just that; strictly mechanical with no wires or electronics. The KTS and the Chi-you are both mechanicals. Both types of devices have their place but mechanicals are necessary when going sub-ohm. They also have less chance of failure since they have no electronics however that also means they provide no protection and are always outputting the maximum power possible from the battery. That's why it's imperative to not only buy quality batteries but also ones that are appropriate for use in a Mechanical (IMR's or protected).

All that said however, you could use the Igo-L on any of the devices; you just wouldn't be able to use it with a sub-ohm coil on the Zmax because it's built-in protection wouldn't allow it.

    Thanks Chim!! :D

LOL, I could seriously get used to this! :D

Glad to hear your headache is gone Lori ... hate those migraines. Hopefully the nearby festivities won't carry on too late.

Yum, I loves the carrot cake too! I haven't had dinner yet but now I'm thinking about cake and those other fair goodies ... hmm, what to do ...

Head down to Cumming for the fair!!!

Oh boy! That's a lot of information for my little ole mind! LOL's

    Okay, re-read it 3 times :D
Got all that except for what exactly "sub-ohm" is ... I know nothing about that subject.
Sigh... next thing you know I'm going to have to learn wire size's & wicks sizes (I had no idea wicks were different until today) ... shut up Chim! And a meter thingy ... good grief! Is it really worth it?!?

Thank God she didn't! She'll be ok. It's still fresh. So I'll be her ear when she needs it.

You really don't have to have a meter right away. You can use your zmax to text your resistance. Ok. Quiet now.

    Regarding sub-ohm...

This is the symbol for Om:

    Omsvg_zps2fd802c5.png

This is a submarine, commonly referred to as a "sub":

Given the above, this, therefore, just be a sub-Om:
