Hey Dale! I did that too after church this morning.
Guess I should cook eventually then. Lol!
Awwwh GG! I was hoping they'd gotten it up & running.

    Howdy all.
Gosh, slow day. Only two pages to catch up. :)
I've been putzing around the house, laundry, a little cleaning...very little , pulled some weeds outside and trimmed back some ground cover we have that just completely takes over.

GG, sorry about your migraines, I don't get the visual ones, but I definitely get the weather related ones, either way, no fun at all!! I sure hope they can get that truck going again!!!! That has to be so frustrating!!

Dale & Chim, you are BRAVE women to go to the grocery store on Sunday. Actually, I guess Saturday is worse, at least around here it is.

Someone is having a family reunion at the park next to our house. I bet there are 300 people there. Their food smells AWESOME too!!

Also, I hate to impose, but I could really use some prayers for a very good friend of my nephews. I don't have his name, but God will know ;), I'll ask his name when I talk to my nephew again, but he's a married, father of three, who just found out he has stage 4 lung cancer. He's in his early 40's, never smoked. Just so very sad. He's in the hospital, and they're telling him there is nothing they can do for him...at all. They are going to try to get second opinions, and possibly go the alternative medicine route. They're early into this, but I don't believe his doctors gave him much time at all.

I'm off to get a shower and get dinner going.

Yes very slow here today. I'd much rather go to the grocery store today than on a Saturday. Not that I'm a fan of going too many places on Saturdays anyway. I'm finally working on dinner now. I ended up taking a nap.

So sorry to hear about your nephews friend. Prayers already up & heading his way.

I had a precious young friend die last year of that "sudden" cancer like that ... two actually; she was in her twentie's
and he was in his mid thirtie's. It's such a sad unexpected thing to happen:(

We can certainly pray for your "nephew's friend" :)

Awww Dale (((HUGS))), I second what Chim said.

Thank you ladies for the prayers!!

I know, I don't know what it is with the sudden cancer now. The obituaries are just full of them it seems. :( God's just calling all the good ones home I guess. But it is just so very sad.

Well, we're about to get dinner going, I'll check back in later. :)

    ........for your viewing entertainment. :)

    What a patient horse!
    That was cute :)

There's a verse about God taking the young home early to save them from the wrath, or troubles or something like that, to come in the old testament...
I can't find it right now, can't think of the right words to look for.

    Awwwh me want a pony!

And just where would you put this pony young lady? :?:

LOL's, one thing I kept telling myself growing up was that someday I would own a horse.
My dad had several when I was a kid and I sure did love them all and riding them :)

Never did get one ... had children, stayed broke, then just got too old. Afraid I would break something if I fell off of a
    horse nowdays:facepalm:

Ah Ha! I knew it was in Isaiah!

The righteous perisheth, and no man layeth it to heart: and merciful men are taken away, none considering that the righteous is taken away from the evil to come. Isaiah 57:1

Doesn't really help those left behind tho' does it?

My oldest sister used to take me riding when I was younger. That was until I had a bad experience...the horse looked strange...like a little crazy or something & his fur was all weird too but the people at the stable assured me he was just fine aka 'a good horse'. Well that 'good horse' tried to throw me & bite me. He kept trying to take off in front of the lead horse. It was a nightmare! Didn't ride again until about 4 years ago. It went well but I was terrified!

No it doesn't. But based on reading revelations a long time ago I wouldn't want to be here in the end. I'd prefer to suffer on earth & be among the angels behind the pearly gates while all of that's going on. But some days I fear the worse isn't far away with the way this world is going.
