Possible, I've read some strange thing's

Now my computer is being super slow to load... :?: Sunday's are like that sometimes cuz hubby watches football on 2 tvs side by side and then highlights on his laptop... when is too much too much???

Now you know why I end up sleeping on Sunday afternoon... sort of like being all alone... but he does talk to you, it's just that it is only football... I like football but.. View attachment 278658

A couple months ago a couple of friends on another thread convinced me to go ahead and try some tobacco flavors. They said it just rounded out certain recipes. Who knew that the one I just couldn't reach was one of them! It is funny really. Each time I mix I try some new formula for it, sometimes 2 or 3... Isn't it ironic...

It doesn't have to do with the tv, he just watches 2 at a time with different games which is kind of funny. Then he watches game clips on the laptop which uses up the limit on our access allotment which slows the laptop down more and more as it drops til it says "you have exceeded your allotted access limit" and then it doesn't even bother to load pages. So as it gets more and more sluggish it makes me crazy! :(

It looks like this... when it drops below 75% it starts slowing down drastically. By 50% loading a page it may well time out, below that you are pretty much wasting your time even trying. On top of that if you continue to use it it increases how long it will be before it resets. I have talked to Hughes net til I am blue in the face and ready to spit tacks... when it gets just so slow, better for me to go do something else or read a book or something!

    Currently in Regular Period
    Data Allowance Status Unthrottled

    Anytime Data Allowance 1.0 GB
Anytime Data Refill Rate 525 MB
Anytime Data Allowance Remaining 713 MB (68%)

Allowance Resets in 0 days, 8 hr and 48 min
Regular Period Ends in 5 hr and 48 min

Basically this is why I stay off pages that have a video loop because it continues to drop the download allowance each time the video loops! He watches all the videos for games he doesn't have on the other tv and it sucks down the allowance. In an hour we will be lucky to get a page to load before it times out...

Also if a pop up has video and he doesn't notice it he may stay on that page for a long time or click on another and then it sits there looping back again and again and eating up download allowance... that is a fairly common occurrence for him not to notice them. Guess I better ask him to minimize and check for a pop up! :(

    Ewwww! :(

And sorry ... I thought you left earlier

Something somewhere is sucking the allotment down... it is already down to 711 MB in the time I have spent typing the last messages... He has a pop up that he didn't notice. Yep! I figured he did. I hate advertisements that are sneaky popups!

    Chim?????

Hey sweetie! I'm here. Sorry I'm just checking back in. I felt horrible after I left work. I can't for the life of me figure out what to do about whatever allergic reaction that place causes me. The tea I take helps my throat some but the congestion is awful. I left home as clear as could be. Now I'm all stopped up again. I need to call my buddy that works in the pharmacy at Target & see what she suggests.

Balwin that sounds horrible! That would drive me nuts!

I have the same problem (sometimes), we call it allergic to work. But seriously, that's not good!! Do they have new carpeting by chance?? Formaldehyde is a VERY common allergen.
A guy I work with has the same problem. His head gets so blocked it's not even funny. Where we work, my guess would be mold and dust. Our building is REALLY, REALLY old, and has had a leaky roof FOR YEARS!! (They just keep patching it.)

    Hehehe!
    Nite Lori dear.
Nite sweetie, for reals this time.

    Sure you are ;)

    Nite nite Lori

    You just wanted more loving
    :p

Remember the other week when I thought I was getting sick...it's continued from then. I thought it was the start of a cold but it never did anything else except affect my nasal passage & my throat. That store has been there for probably almost 20 years & they haven't given it a 'face lift' yet so I'm sure there's all kinds of stuff in the carpet...not to mention the air system. We've asked them to come in & check it out. A few weeks prior to me starting there they put up a bunch of slats on the wall & tore some old ones down. Jennifer, the other manager, said it caused her all kinds of problems with her allergies when it did.

Seems like it's getting worse. I almost wonder if them turning up the heat in the store might be making it worse. Seems like I was barely in there tonite & I came out feeling awful.

Absolutely! That could cause it ... especially if there are allergin's in the place all ready :(

    What are you gonna do???

    I thought so.
I'm going to call & see if my friend is working tomorrow & see if she can recommend some kind of allergy medicine that won't make me drowsy. I wasn't planning on going out tomorrow but there's a CVS around the corner & ill just go grab it so that I can go ahead & take it before I go back to work Tuesday. Hopefully I'll be able to find something that helps.
