Hey Chim! How's it going this fine day? I got the dishwater too hot so have to take a break!!! That's my story and I'm sticking to it! View attachment 278850

It's going pretty good...as in I'm being lazy. Hehehe!
Oh no!!! You must not harm yourself with that dangerous dishwater;) you absolutely must take a break my dear. :)

Just rebuilt a coil with some new ekowool. Have you ever used this stuff? Wonder how long it takes to break in.

Hey dear! I slept pretty good. How are you today?
I'm okay Chim, slept okay too :)
Been trying to get some stuff done ... just cut some of Elly's hair but we both gotta take a break; makes us both nervous wreaks
Looks like everyone's run away. About to rebuild a coil. Bbs
Ewww, I've decided I don't really like doing that much :(

    Glad you're being lazy :)

I know others say it is so different, for me the fact it was flat was really the only difference I saw. Taste didn't appear to change, maybe my taste buds haven't come back as much as I hoped they had... I know it was easier to wrap in my opinion. I use the other that I have for flavor wicks more than anything now. I bought a package of the FT pre-builts but hadn't needed any yet so can't really say how they will do either... sorry!

LOL! If you want to see a dog look really, really nervous you should be here when Bruce shop vacs Yoda! Yoda lays quiet but he is none too happy about the procedure! It really is kind of pitiful! You can vacuum up a puppy a day though if you don't vacuum him instead! He isn't fond of being combed either... View attachment 278852

Me & Elly both hate the haircut's but she's got mat's & stuff that really need to go; sure will look funny when I get done tho'
Wish I could have her professionally done but the last guy wanted $75 to do it!

Glad you slept well sweetie. Also glad you didn't have to go to work today:)
I know what you mean, Prince hates it be he tolerates me doing it somewhat. I have to make sure the hair around his bottom stays trimmed in between grooming & he doesn't like anyone back there...I don't blame him.

Thanks sweetie. I normally use silica wick from rtd. I love that stuff but I just figured I'd try some of this a while back. It's been sitting in the supply kit for months. Hehehe! It's more hollow so it's definitely easier to wrap but that makes me wonder how long it takes for the liquid to absorb. As usual I'm probably just putting to much thought into it.

I wish Chloe would let me do that to her! She absolutely hates being combed. Atleast Prince will tolerate it. :grr:

The prices are ridiculous aren't they! But $75 is extreme. Petsmart grooming charges me $45. Since I can maintain him mostly myself he only goes 2-3 times a year.

Occasionally he gets a mat but mostly he just sheds til it makes me crazy! $75 for that they should come do it daily for the month! that's just crazy! People know we love our pets and really try to take advantage of it! Yoda will trust Bruce completely though so if he trims, combs, vacuums, etc. Yoda just lays there and looks miserable until it's over. Then he gets happy cuz he gets petted on and all is forgiven again.

Oh goodness! Wish I could find them too!
I did find a lady who only charges $30 as well but she's about 30 mins away. The shop is in this really small town up near the mountains. There's nothing up there really to do while you wait. They do a great job as well but by the time I drive there & back I may as well just pay the $45.

This is our little house dog Yoda... We do actually keep him inside at nights so he doesn't fight with coyotes as they will pack up and try to coax him away from the house. Also, if Bruce is inside Yoda is too. He sleeps beside the bed unless the granddaughters are here, then he sleeps where he can watch over them. He is aware he isn't allowed in the kitchen so he will stand with his toenails on the kitchen tile and watch to see what you are doing in there, but he never steps off the carpet... Mostly he's a good kid!

Sorry  I know it's not funny :) I had a lot of problems with the butcher shop too, too much mold and when Tim bleached it made my eyes and nose run so bad I couldn't even see what I was doing :(

Oh he's so sweet looking!

And how precious about the kid's & the kitchen :)
I had a german shepard that preferred to sleep in the kitchen (linolium floor) and she would lay her head on a pillow :)

    Gosh I miss her ...
