I have the quarter's yes, didn't know about the nickels? :?:

What's a conchos?

Kind of round metal jewelry for headstalls, chaps, saddles and such. They are fairly heavy and metal with etching and such on them. Cowboy jewelry if cowboys had jewelry... here is a pic of some of the most common ones.

I used to know a woman who could "see" things. So much so that when there was a child murdered in the area several years ago, she offered to go walk around the area that she was found to see if she could help. She did go, and was able to tell them what she thought they should look for. A description of the man, his vehicle, things like that. Well, when they did find the man, and they did, he was half way across the US. They found physical evidence (blood & the child's clothing) in his vehicle. It was also a random thing, no ties to the child. Well, her info was so spot on, she ended up a suspect too. She said that the investigators really put her through the ringer, so much so that she didn't know if she would ever help again if a situation presented itself. Sad what can happen to those who are truly gifted that way.

My lady could do that, too. She helped with a similar investigation, telling them to look for the girl's hair in his trunk. He had been a suspect, but had a good alibi and they had nothing on him. In her case, she was never a suspect. She's also helped doctors with extremely difficult to diagnose cases. She can't see something like cancer or a tumor inside, but she can see colors in areas of distress, and she knows the human body from having been an x-ray tech years ago. So she told the doctor to look in a certain area, at a particular organ. She was always spot on. It was uncanny. That's not all she can do, either. She's a Sensitive and a Mystic.

The boys and I can feel each other and Bruce, the grandkids, the girls and Matt also do it. It is family most of the time, not really anyone outside of our close circle. The boys could feel my dad when he was alive too.

I get too befuddled looking at all the pictures on all the states coins now. Never quite sure if I got a fake or if they really make one that "looks like that"! View attachment 279003

    What's a conchos?

Concha and Concho can refer to:

    * A sweet baked bread originally from México
    * The bowl-shaped part of the Pinna (the external), nearest the ear canal
    * Concha or Concho, a round decorative piece of metal seen on a western saddle and other
.. horse equipment descended from the Spanish tradition
    (in this case)
    * Concho, Arizona, a frontier town now functioning as a retirement community in Apache County
    * Concho, West Virginia
    * Nasal concha (plural conchae) also known as turbinates
    * shell in the languages Spanish and Portuguese

She could see illness, and cancers. :( She said that she wasn't always 100% right with cancers, but she felt that if it wasn't there, it just meant that it wasn't there "yet". She also said that she could "see" things with just about everyone, and that although she felt that it was a gift from God, that she sometimes also felt it was a curse (for lack of a better word). She said it was often hard to be at peace because of the "noise" around her all the time.

My lady could do it with everyone, too. And yeah, sometimes an illness was in a predisposed state, often meaning easier to cure. But she doesn't have a constant interruption from it. She has to "Tune In" to see it. That's the way she trained herself to do it. This kind of advanced "seeing" wasn't there in the beginning, at least not fully. She had to discipline herself for it.

i believe it to be an ability we all have. Children are told when they are small that you can't possibly know that so they begin to doubt it and by the time they are adult they lose it by ignoring it. It isn't gone, just weakened from being pushed away. I suspect it was even stronger in past years when there was less "noise" around us all.

Yes, the more you use it the stronger it is. You also have to learn to tune out the noise. It is still strong in the 4 year old and Dave is careful not to tell the kids it is their imaginations so they aren't surprise by it. Ang also has some of it so that helps when the in-laws aren't surprised by it and just accept it.
