It's electric and has the option for flames with heat or just flames. Temp goes from 72-89, I believe. It puts out a surprising amount of heat and is advertised to heat up to 600 sq feet.

Started using the Aspire atomizer I got in a co-op way back and I must say they are very good. I hate that they are not rebuildable though. It could be just because it is new but the menthol flavor I made is really quite pleasant. I have been reading good things about them.

Didn't make it to the birthday party I was suppose to go to tonight. Just didn't feel like doing anything other than going out to eat with my Dad. We had Baked Chicken Cacciatore and it was delicious. One of my favorite dishes at the restaurant we go to so often. We use to eat there everyday but have started branching out a little bit. Then just came home and got in the recliner with the o'l apple cider tea. Good night just to stay in. I know they had really good food at the party though. grrrr I love party foods. I sure wish I had some of the Oreo Cookie Ice Cream Cake right now. Darn. Double darn.

In the middle of the night, I got the hankering for some pinto beans. So I filled the crockpot full and cut up a big o'l package of country ham. Maybe not to everyone, but I think the house smells great. I just had a little bowl and I'm just gonna say.... I did good. Seasoned almost to perfection. Nothing better on a cold morning. I'm not really eating beans for breakfast because I haven't been to bed yet so it's ok. heehee Love me some Pinto Beans.

Having my first cuppa, not quite "human" just yet.

Well Dave, as much as I really would like an electric fireplace, the wall we have left in the living room would place it in a walkway. So realistically, I think I'll have to nix the idea. We have a gas insert in the fireplace at the lake, so I guess I just need to go there more on the weekends to get my fireplace fix. I just think they're so calming, and relaxing to look at though. AND, how about the Spartans yesterday!!

Chapeltown, hope the antibiotics work quickly for you!!

I'm wearing my Sparty sweatshirt as I type I'm sure my little brother was busy last night. There were thousands of students out on the street burning anything they could light on fire lol swat team was brought in for crowd control but I haven't heard from him yet to get any details.

My fireplace is about 15" deep so yep it probably wouldn't work for you. If you already have has hookups then you can get the ventless inserts pretty cheap. That's what I originally wanted to do but this electric one was so much less work lol

Right, I knew you bled BLUE, , but I think anyone from Michigan would rather see a Mi team win over Ohio. I bet that was a HUGE mess.

No gas hookup here, or even conventional fireplace. Just the wall with an outlet. I do have wall space in the basement, so that could be an option. I keep forgetting about the man cave, but not sure I'm welcome down there on a regular basis. JK, he wouldn't care, but I like to give him his own space/environment. We all need it.
