You guys are making me hungry...elf, that sounds amazing! Aaron what is Hummina-Hummina" sandwich and a mojo salad ??

Hummina-Hummina is a sandwich with Hummus (of course), tabouli, cucumber, tomato, greens and avacado on 5 grain bread
Mojo salad is a salad with greens and spinach, tomato, cucumber, kalamata olives and a vinaigrette dressing.

And it is just about time to go eat it :D later everyone!

    Pictures missy dale....

LOL! Just go to FT and look for the 6-in1 Rechargeable 900mAh "Health Keeping Set" SKU 1359605. I'm not gonna be downloading any more pictures this month!

Fried Green Beans are da bomb! Sweet Potato Fries are really good, too. When I was at a convention back in '08 in Asheville, NC we ate somewhere downtown and I had Ahi Tuna with sweet tater fries and they had a pumpkin curry risotto. I've tried to find the recipe for the risotto to no avail.

On tonight's menu is Parmesan crusted split cornish hens, jasmine rice and steamed yellow squash.

OH Wow! Cornish hens!!! I've forgotten all about those, & squash yummmmmm, haven't met a squash yet I didn't like!:D
For some reason I didn't care for "fried Sweet Potatoes" & I dearly LOVE baked sweet potatoes ... go figure:confused:

    Yes!!
Sounds good, what time do we need to be washed up and ready? :D

Ah yes, the way to a man's heart:D especially 'tater salad's'

I found a recipe for the pumkin curry risotto at tastykitchen dot com. Not if it's the same though, I mean I know the name is the same, but if you can tell by the ingredients listed if it would be similar to the way yours had been prepared....does that make sense??

Yup, seared ahi tuna is a major weakness of mine. I still break occasionally for that and good sushi.

I always find it interesting, the reasons people have for embracing a particular lifestyle (if you feel like sharing :))

Speaking for myself, I'm too much of a hedonist to deny myself the pleasures of the table. Cavier, camembert, raqulette, escargot, and smoked salmon are right at the top of my "love" list; carpaccio is another favorite (beef, not fish) as is foie gras. There's not much I won't eat, unless it's raw testicles or bugs/worms or something really off the grid (although I understand, in come cultures, those are delicacies).

juice mixing update, for those who're interested:

Thug Juice with extra cherry flavor turned out to basically taste like maraschino, which is ok; but I already have that from MBV. Soooo, I added a good shot of Extreme Ice and it's pretty good. Like a Cherry Ice, I guess.

I didn't have time to fool around with anything orange today...maybe tomorrow.

For those of you who like Squash...
    Squash Patties

    1 egg
    1 tablespoon sugar
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    dash pepper
    2 tablespoons milk
    2 tablespoons chopped onion
    1/2 cup flour
    1 cup cooked (mashed) squash

Combine, mix well. Fry in oil 'til light brown

    Enjoy :)

I always cook lots of squash for the leftovers. We eat it steamed, then I make a casserole with what's left. (the cooked squash, an egg, about 1/2 cup milk, some crushed saltines, some parm cheese, a dash of italian seasoning....I just eyeball it, no real measuring. Mix and bake until golden and set in the middle)

This looks really good and would be a nice change. Of course, I love fried just about everything.
