oh i liked Misery and Stand By Me too....forgot. :)
Movie, book or both? I've read the Dome book & watched the first episode. I've already noticed a couple of plot changes, but I think it's to help make the transition from the book to the screen. My other mostest favorite King book is the Talisman - a collaboration with Peter Straub. It's a great read.

Kelli, that's a good pic, they're all good, but that one I've not seen before. I like it. Do you still wear your hair that long? I just assume that most of these are fairly recent pictures.

Ok...BBL.

oh you're gone but maybe you will see it later :) hi lori

yes my hair is very long right now, i am almost ready to donate for the 4th time....this might be the last.

DH reads him, also the ones under Richard Bachman. Did you read the "Dark Tower" series? I think that's what it was called. DH did, he was really a bit miffed with the last one. Miffed, but not surprised.

.......I don't think that smiley belongs with those.
Hmmmm, ok, scratch one :)

I donated about 5 years ago...19 inches and almost half a pound. I haven't grown it back to do it again.

i love all the books but really liked those movies. now that i check, there are actually several more movies that were good. it's the mini-series that kinda sucked. even Maximum Overdrive was kinda fun.

I see AB playing catch up. Darlin, your package arrived, but I haven't had time to taste the juices yet. It's killing me!! And, of all things, DH has already stolen the drip tip. Even though he doesn't smoke, he's decided to try vaping 0 mg to feed his sweet tooth, to help with his diet (type 2 diabetic). I've set him up with one of my ego's & a carto, and a cheap drip tip that came with one of my first set ups. He kicked up quite a fuss when he saw the new pretty, so I gave in, at least temporarily.....

Awwww, that was mighty sweet of you Charm ... who knows, maybe he'll become a Vaper :)

Hi Jer ! But you need to be very, very careful with your words around THIS crowd. That sounded suspiciously like a challenge.....

    Did someone say challenge
    ?

I know, right? I'm reminded of my first reading of "The Stand". I read all Steven King's books, usually curled up on the couch with a snack. If you've read it, you know this book starts with a super-flu that kills people by expulsion of all their bodily fluids, from every orifice. I had to put my snack away until I read past that part.

    I love "forsencic" books :)

The Stand is one of my favorite books of all time. i was so excited when they made a mini-series from it, but was somewhat let down when i saw it. video adaptations rarely live up to written works, IMO.

    hi everybody :)

They never do, books are always better ;)

Kelli's young, she can carry off long hair ... on me it just looks stupid:blink:

I'm caught up!!!!! woot woot! Oh that nap felt good, but I missed a lot of good conversation. I like to look at bugs but I don't like them touching me and I don't touch them. I like the stick bugs...one bug I HATE is the Japanese beetle, as beautiful as it is...it does some serious damage to our gardens.

On to gross things...nah, I got nothing at the moment.

Stephen King...I LOVE The Stand!!!! That is my all time favorite!

Hey everyone! Hope everyone had a great day!

Dale are you feeling better hun?

Charm, looks like you're going to have to grab some drip tips for hubby!

Kelli!! Hey sweeties! I missed you! I agree! Most book to movie/tv translations are bad! I'm a big Dan Brown fan & the movies always make me mad! I haven't read the latest release because I feel like its going to mess up the movie that's destined to be released at some point! But I'm sure ill read it when I gt some free time.

Elf & Quatro those are some pretty nasty scars! Especially yours Quatro!

Can't rem what else I read a this point but I can't not say hello to my other sweeties Lori & Angel! Hope I didn't miss anyone!
