yes my hair is very long right now, i am almost ready to donate for the 4th time....this might be the last.

I donated about 5 years ago...19 inches and almost half a pound. I haven't grown it back to do it again.

Yup, I was a freshman in High School. The assistant principal came on the intercom and told everyone to go to their homerooms. He didn't say why. When we got to our homeroom, they played the radio over the intercom "the president has been shot". Our buses came and we quietly boarded them. We were quiet, the entire ride home. When I got home, my mother was crying and the tv was on. They announced that President Kennedy was dead. He was one of us, a Catholic and a New Englander, everyone was stunned.

I wasn't born then either, but I can't even imagine what that must have been like for you. Just so sad.

OK, I gotta go to bed, but have to share one story, to make Kelli feel better. One of the girls I work with told me today she had tried watching Under the Dome last night, but the cow cut if half grossed her out. However, she still wanted to know what the story is about, so I gave her a very brief synopsis. Her one question when I was done? "What's a dome? I don't know what that IS!". So, you'd think that was bad enough, but no. I pull up some Google images of domes, and she says "but those are glass. The one on TV was invisible". Yes, I work with these people.....
