Lurking?? How to find a home within all the forums and threads?

Hey, Jer, I just had to comment on your feelings about the leaving the forum. I'm not really that interested in a lot of the technology either, and that's not why I come to THIS thread. We're in the lounge after all. The internet is an amazing thing, allowing like minded people to find each other when time & space wouldn't normally given us the opportunity to meet.

Thanks for the hug Jer, I'm a bit afraid I may lose another tooth ... it'll be my third this year if I do
The last one was a molar & they sent me to the oral surgeon due to my sinuses ... ummm, it was not fun.

I had a job lined up for when I got back from Wilmington, 17 double rolls of paper to install: 3 in a powder room and 14 in the master suite. The clients decided to just do the powder room and paint the master suite. So that will cut the invoice to about a third of what I had estimated. The powder room won't be ready to paper for another couple of weeks. ~sigh~

That is very true, Charm. I have seen a lot of friends go, but I have been fortunate in meeting new friends. I guess that there are times when I miss the old days on here, the old friends, but I'm very happy with my new friends.

Have you tried a different power cord? I had that problem at one point and had to get a new one.

Well, there is a tiny piece broken off of something that either used to fit in the "female" part of where the jack plugs in on the back, and it has to be inside the male part of the jack itself....just right....and, if I lose the little broken piece...I'm screwed....LOL.

I really don't know if I need the cord, or just the new LAPTOP part.....

But I say the old girl still has PLENTY of life left in her!!!

She 100% charged and ready now..........we rollin baby!!

So, dinner out was good and tmr's free? Whoo Hoo!

It was awesome. A caprese appetizer (tomatoes are finally getting good) & Seafood Saute-shrimps, scallops, calamari & mussels in a sweet tomato sauce over linguini. I had to get my tiramisu "to go", so that's why I may log off a little early - it deserves my undivided attention. Just got bad news tho-DH's ride just cancelled on him, so looks like my alone time will be abbreviated after all. So sad....

I have to agree with Charm Jerry, I would really hate for you to disappear all together. I would just imagine that I speak for most if not all of us when I say that I look forward to meeting you here every evening

Sorry to hear about the delay, my dear. However, I do see wallpaper making a come back on HGTV & decorating mags, so I'm sure you're on the verge of getting really busy again.
