We all need a job...
But a company that over works, tricks and abuses you really is no place to work.
I can see that you gave it your all....and so much more. Then, look how they 'reward' you !

I have been 'let go' a couple of times...because I would not play corporate games.
Three days at a steel factory of 80 hr a week crackheads...I quit, two weeks latter- two men died- crushed by plates of steel !
Nine years and ten months at a 'Human Service' agency...let go, three months latter, CFO indicted on theft...300K.
Owned a business for seven years...(convenience store with wife)...that was good...you only abuse yourself !
General Manager of another metal fabrication co...owner was a crazy man...I quit...' I will not be abused for money !'
So, you see- it happens to many, many good people...You did nothing wrong...and the evil they are doing WILL catch up with them.

Integrity is a very difficult and rare thing to have any keep today. There are so many people and companies trying to cut corners, and feather their own nests...pushing employees to do too much, for too little and saying 'teamwork' when they really mean 'overwork'.
And it is even more difficult to just say 'NO !, I have limits and boundaries that I keep'- to tell a friend, spouse or employer...
'No- my plate is full now, and if I do the thing you are asking me to do, my other obligations will suffer !'
If anyone cannot accept 'NO'...they are are bullying you...and you must keep true to yourself and step away from them.
(It is the best thing FOR YOU....and really, that is what matters most !)
I am over 50 years old (....!), and I will no longer be a servant to what someone else thinks I should do.
We all have skills, abilities and talents...and limits, and we should use them all.

Well...off of the soapbox now, Rick !
Today seems like a dark day...
But I know for certain that the sun will rise tomarrow morning-( and you do not have to drive 50 miles in)
And after all of the emotions you will feel over the next few days...
Something much, much better will come to you.
You made it through all these years, your gonna make it through a whole bunch more !

Wanna hear something that is gonna floor you? My job...I worked in the shop office of a...wait for it....wait for it...a steel manufacturing company!! It's true, it's in Birmingham Alabama, Southeastern Plateworks! Anyone reading this from that area please take note: Do not, I repeat do NOT ever go to work for these people, they will destroy you if you let them.

Thank you Rick, I appreciate that so much, I know that the sun will come out tomorrow and guess what, I just turned my 3:30 am alarm and I hope I never have to set it that early again lol. I know this is a blessing and I am going to make the most of it! I can't wait to see what God has in store for me, a new adventure

Glad everyone is safe and I know God has better things in store for AB.
Creativity abounds in this place. I need to get out my drill, saw and router and make stuff. Now to get the kid to find my sawhorses. Too bad it's going to be a rainy weekend. Coffee first. Then who knows.

Good morning my beautiful people!!! xoxoxoxo Well, it's Friday morning, my eyes are swollen up like crazy and my head is throbbing, that is the bad news. The good news; I slept harder and better than I've slept in a year. I slept till 9:30 this morning...even on my days off I didn't sleep past 6:30. I feel so...relieved, so peaceful, so relaxed. I know that I will never have to go there again, I will never have to feel the dread that I felt every morning driving in there, I don't have to feel the fear of making the smallest mistake. I'm free, I am completely free. God has blessed me with a loving family and loving friends and everything else that I need, the rest is a piece of cake from here on. I have the essential things, God has made certain of that. And...I just filed for unemployment, they will most likely fight it but I am ready for that. They wanted me to send a forged document and wrote me up when I sent out the legal document. They also fire illegal immigrants and then rehire them 3 days later with a new ID. I began questioning that a couple of months after I started there and that is where my problems began. Oh well, I can sleep well at night because I told the truth and did the right thing. I'm sure they sleep well too but only because they are on medications for stress and insomnia lol.

I love fruits...Strawberry is my favorite, I have gone down to 18mg from 24, I just got some flavors from Capella's, Strawberry, Pumpkin Pie, Blueberry crumb cake and Chocolate fudge brownie. I am excited about trying them but I think that I'm gonna wait lol, don't wanna like em so much I use them up too fast hahahahah!

Hi catcat, I'm new hanging out here, I headed back to page one last night and read through about pg. 33. Awesome read!!! So many genuinely nice people, I'm soooooooooo happy to have found ECF.

I still feel mostly like a lurker because I check in and out, but mostly don't get to really relax and read, or participate until just before bedtime, so I'm often WAY late to post, convo's long since over, and everyone has already gone to bed....LOL.
Ah well, it is what it is, and by then I'm mostly too pooped to chit chat....

Anyhoodles, my fav's are chocolate, caramel apple, amaretto, and dessert types. I've been vaping for 8 months and really haven't tried a lot of different flavors...yet....
