Especially if you only drink on rare occasions like yourself, you have little tolerance.
VERY true, I'm ashamed to say I used to drink most of my "friends" (if you want to call them that) under the table. But not no more two, maybe three is about all I can do these days & keep my wit's about me.
I'm like Chim, I'm really careful with that stuff since my dad's a "recovering" alcoholic

My Dad, Grandfather on my Dad's side and my Sister both have had some issues with alcohol ... me, I've always been able to take it or leave it ... luckily. In my wilder days however, I can't deny I put more than my share away when I was out with friends.

I'm a lightweight also when it comes to drinking. I'm still working on that one I started over an hour ago.
It doesn't bother me if it gets warm either.

I used to drink Manhattans and B&B on the rocks. Then I toned it down to wine. Now, I might have one George Dickel/Diet Coke every couple of weeks. Just lost my taste for it a couple of years ago.
