What happened with Kayte & Doug? Pooter crash?

We used to lose internet AND cable every time it rained, for about a year that went on. After 2 trips out here, laying all new cable to the house, they finally found that a squirrel had eaten part of a cable, outside up on the pole. They said that if the squirrel can sit anywhere and reach it, they'll chew on it. Whoever had strung the cable at the pole looped it instead of cutting it to the right size. The loop gave the squirrels a place to "sit". They kept trying to tell us it was an inside problem. Haven't had any problems since they fixed the cable on the pole.....amazing.

My heart gave a little bump seeing Z_Ghost on your thread.
He *sniff* was a well loved member of my HHV thread/forum. He passed away in February and ECF mods changed his status to 'Resting in Peace'. God I miss him. it looks like we might be losing another one in the not so distant future. Liver cancer.
