FedEx is sure taking their sweet time I would think they would want to get done early on a Sat. I'm waiting for 60 lb of wood pellets I wish they would hurry up I got some smoking to do I've been out of pellets all week I'm jonesing. one of the down falls of my wonderful new pellet grill is not being able to get pellets locally but a least i get free shipping on them.

Just let me know when it's chow time! :)

What are you gonna smoke? I would love to have one of those smokers!

they took to long to get here the brisket will be ready tomorrow for lunch. that's why I love this smoker you can let it go over night and it does all the work. it's the lazy girls smoker
My husband has an electric one, he's new to smoking (meat...LOL....no pun intended...he still smokes the stinkies), but he's been serving up some AWESOME good eats from it. He went on a hunting trip to Stormy's home state, TX, earlier this year, and brought home wild boar. All I can say is HAPPY, HAPPY, HAPPY!!!
:laugh::laugh::laugh:

Hi chimney...and everyone !
Just got back from checking out the Prom kids...
They clean up pretty nice...
Wish they would do that sometimes for schooldays.

Got 'some' logs cut up...and planted all the flowers, tilled the garden...will do more tomarrow....
But I think I'm going be sore.

They are moving us to the basement...( Lounge- they call it...),
Well, I knew that was coming...what with Robino dancing on the tables and all !!!!

Now, I want some BBQ too !
I'm not a real drinker either...even though I have a complete tiki bar downstairs !
I don't drink beer, and may have a drink or two, then go three months before I have another.
Hate having a hangover....so wont drink to excess.

I'm going to check out this 'Lounge'...then to bed.
nite all.

HEY!!!! I only did it one time, unless you count the pool table too. but that was Halloween and it was a parade of sorts of costumes.
I prefer to think of the move as going out to the poolside...

Yes! The only good part is when I am off I can carry out my errands much quicker & with less hassle because everyone else is at work! Lol! But I usually get at least one weekend out of the month off. It's not too bad though...just the price I pay for working in retail management.

Evening everyone! Glad you're off work and can relax a bit Chimney.

DJ has me wondering what kind of lounge we're in. I haven't been to a bar since.. well, since right before I turned 21. I grew up around lots of alcohol and I guess that's part of why it never really appealed to me. I preferred 'other things' in my teen years. So anytime a designated driver is needed in here...

I'm sitting here watching my husband play with Watson (the dog.) Watson can't eat until after he has play time. It's a rule he made up. lol Right now, he's throwing his sock monkey for Doug to go fetch. (Yeah... things are kind of backward here. :D )

Dale, that video made me laugh. Although I did feel pretty sorry for those guys. I think they only did it for like an hour though so my sympathy was pretty limited. I was in labor for 5 days with my daughter. Yeah... they're wimps. :2cool:

Chimney - That's exactly what I was going to say!! It's soooooo much easier to get errands and shopping done, seriously a WORLD of difference not shopping on weekends!

DJ - - Now I feel like I've accomplished absolutely NOTHING today compared to you!!
 AND I want a tiki bar!!

Robin - I've changed my mind, next party, I AM sitting next to you....:lol::lol:

Wow! Five days!!! You are officially SuperWoman! My lady parts are hurting just imagining!!!

lol You know the worst part was after going through all that, I ended up with an emergency c-section. My son on the other hand just refused to even try. I was a month overdue with him and ended up with another emergency c-section. But at least that time we just went straight for the end result and skipped the labor part. I think I need a strawberry margarita just thinking about it.

I'm afraid that would've been ONE BLEEDING DOCTOR after 5 days of labor!!

The best part of getting up at 4 a.m. (besides a pot of coffee that is) is being able to get a few chuckles here with my friends - who are all asleep by the way :)

Aw Chimney I know how you feel; I spent two years preparing & serving breakfast at a hotel (it was suppose to be fun & entertaining) & weekends were super busy!!! Ugh! Mondays fast became my favorite day of the week:rolleyes: ^^^^^^^^^^^^ This is why I quit, it's really hard for ONE person to prepare for & feed over two hundred "guests"

Oh Kayte8-o ; & I thought 36 hours before my c-section was bad:shock: Yeah, those guys were really wimps, someone said they cheated cause they didn't have to push a watermelon out of their ..... well, you know:laugh:

Wowzer DJ ... and I was exhausted just from having company & my granddaughter:facepalm: Now I just feel totally worthless!

Oh, btw Chimney - I think the bbq is for lunch today.... how about if we save you a plate & you can throw it in the microwave when you get home :)

Robino you're just our little party girl, there's gotta be one in every bunch:evil:

As far as The Lounge goes; well, I think we've just graduated ya'll:toast: We are now Officially part of ECF:party: The only sad part is new people won't be able to find us :(

I think I'm making up for lost time. I was a responsible adult at the tender age of 18 and pregnant. I just turned 19 when my daughter was born. Second (and last) baby, my son, when I was 22. I didn't party and go out. The more my then husband drank, the less I wanted to. Yes, its called alcoholism. Someone had to be responsible and take care of things. I don't drink irresponsibly or very often. Although I did go through a phase after kids were grown and after meeting current hubby, where there were times.....lets just say the next day sucked. It was an eye opener to have someone that was normal in that he drinks socially. I've only seen him wasted 5 times in the 17 years we've been together.

My daughter had never seen me drunk until after she had had her first child. She still laughs about it. I've since calmed down and know how and what I can drink and control how affected I am. I detest praying to the porcelain god. Shots are not friendly.
