Got some "ok" dinner and the bed is pretty great actually, got an upgrade to a king suite. I have so many hotel and airline points it's crazy so I always get upgraded.

I can sleep on pretty much anything though, I prefer firm.

I sleep in a taco shell bed. You lay down and thing folds up around you. Quite annoying and it's only a few years old. Did you ever see the I Love Lucy where Ethel ties Fred to his side of the bed so he won't just fall into the middle and leave no room for her? Yeah.. that's very close to mine. Only a slight exaggeration.

I don't know if I could do a firm mattress. A friend has one and we laugh that you don't get in bed, you get 'on' bed. It's seriously like laying on the floor.

That was pretty funny, and yes I have seen every episode of "I Love Lucy"

I spent a lot of time sleeping on the ground when I was young, think that is why I prefer a firm mattress, it just feels good on my back.

Less than an inch, very thin. Had some of my friends family come over from Korea and they all slept on the floor because the mattresses were too soft for them.

My grandsons have a mat in their bedroom that's about 4" thick. Maybe I'll lay down on it next time I'm over and end up ditching this whole mattress thing. Has to be better than a taco bed. lol

laying down in a layer of seasoned ground beef... covered with cheese and lettuce... maybe a dollop of guac and sour cream... a few dices of tomato...
