No she had been in labor all day. Water did a slow leak from the top. I have her beat though I went into labor Jan 9 with her and she was born feb 1st. Yes I was in labor the whole time contractions every two mins. Ins could not do c section till the next month-they had already done as many as they could for jan. I should have sued them.

Yep really. I had to lay on my left side to keep BP down. She wrapped the cord around her neck during this time so glad it was a c sect

Awwwwww I didn't want to say it, but when you started talking about DH wanting a car, when they get the new/new to them car bug, there is little use to fight it. (Kinda like us with purses and shoes)
Wellll ... it's not actually NEW, it's newer. He found a 2003 Impala he likes so he got that; plus we'll be keeping the Rodeo for those times he needs to deliver a bunch of stuff. There goes the insurance

We never do new either. Well, once. A new Ford Ranger, 2000 or 2001, with air, 5 speed...basic. I was sooooooo cheap (relatively). It was a work car (truck), we sold it last year. It had 196K miles. Needed new tires & front suspension (whatever that actually keeps it on the road). DH said the truck wasn't worth putting that stuff on it. I'd been driving it to work for the last 4 years. Was sooooooo happy to get a different one, but it served us well, and I hated to get rid of it until it was truly "done". The guy who bought it was happy as a pig in you know what....LOL!!!

Same here Lori, newest car we ever bought was the Malibu, I think it had 30,000 miles on it, was a "program" car. I like to get those cause they are "proven" & turned in every year DH is kind of lousy at buying car's tho'; he gets excited while I sit there & frown & hum & haw until the price come's down where I'm satisfied
Same with our home, we sat at the table with the couple and the lady kept talking the price down ... we never said a word! It was hilarious because we would have paid their asking price! Oh my, that was priceless!

My "grocery getter" is a 1992 Dodge Caravan...it currently has 304,267 original miles on it. The wiper motor died, so I can't drive it when it's forecast to rain, but it still runs pretty well...for now
