Thanks for the suggestions for chicken! I have to head out to work soon - waiting for my 2nd alarm to go off now - so I don't have time to do much with them. I ended up putting some different chicken cuts in the crock pot with a BBQ style sauce.

Lisa, your crockpot chicken sounds wonderful!! I would think that should retain the moisture you're wanting for sure.

I'm feeling the allergy pain too, I think ours is the local mold count. Plus, we could use a rain to wash it all down. Farmers are out and about, and that always stirs up the dust too. Yep, I just checked, our mold count (St. Louis) is up over 12,000, putting it at the RED mark on the meter. Ragweed is in the 30's, so I guess that's low, it was green.

Chim, sorry I missed you, have a wonderful time on your trip!! Drive safely, and hope you get some time to relax!!

Sorry I haven't been around too much. I just haven't felt much like chatting. Trying to get caught up on a few things here around the house, and just kind of generally in a blah mood that I hate to spread around. Nothing at all to do with our group here, just kind of too restless to sit on the computer. I take breaks from my computer time every now and then, so don't worry or think anything is up.

She wanted to talk about God, ask some questions and such y'all do me a favor and pray for her please, she's a wonderful girl but she wasn't raised in a Christian home and now she's curious. Thank you Lori, I knew I could count on you. She wants to know more about God and I'm so happy about that. My son is a Christian and she's agnostic but I believe that God put them together for a reason and I think with her living in a Christian home that now I see why. Keep praying y'all. Maybe I can get her into church with us.

I think there was a misunderstanding I had an appt. with the dentist today for a cleaning (first one in 20 years); she did a wonderful job, got them clean & I only fisted my hands a few times
On the OS I meant we would "make" an appt today, however he will see me tomorrow at 10 a.m. to my great surprise. Most likely he will ask how I am doing & tell me to go to the GP for a blood test I would have sworn he said HE would do the test but this morning on the phone they were saying no, not so... they don't do those Anyway the girl who cleaned my teeth said she saw white spot's on the roof of my mouth & they called the OS & asked that he check that out ......sigh, what now?!? She also said that yes, those back two teeth do seem to have shifted outwards some & may indeed be causing problems.
As to telling them "what I want", GG I'm not really a forceful personallity ... I pretty much do what I'm told. It's how I was raised I guess... I got beat with the belt a lot as a child for so much as asking "why" ... I've been well trained to follow the rules & not ask any questions DH is no better.

Angel ... if your FDIL is truely "agnostic" then all I can say is walk softly & never push. Answer her questions and don't voleenter anything else... live the life before her ... and pray .... a lot! You know you & she have my prayers
