 Caught me peekin'...just reading to try and catch up. Got my dropcloths, miftys, and rollers washed up and the van put back together yesterday. Today is just regular laundry and housework to catch up with.

Dave, hope things will go your way today.

Well I didn't quite win but I'm ok with the result. Since I couldn't prove that the debt wasn't mine and a judgement was already entered 8 years ago I have to pay part of the debt.

Their lawyers wanted me to pay $500 a month! They said I made enough money to easily afford that. The judge was actually leaning their way until I asked my lawyer to let me talk to the judge.

After hearing my side of things the judge said that he believed me and that the debt more than likely wasn't mine but he couldn't just throw out the last judgement without proof. He did cut the total amount down and set my payments at $100 a month.

Before seeing the judge I actually told those guys to go F themselves. They are a bunch of roaches and don't care who they screw over as long as they keep getting paid.

On a positive note my lawyer took $750 off of my retainer since my talk with the judge is what swayed his decision. My lawyer originally didn't want me to say anything. I could tell that it wasn't going to end up in my favor so there was no way that I could just stand there and not say anything.

When I was talking to the judge I only referred to the people suing me as "those scumbags" lol. I think the judge might have even chuckled once :)

They even hired a local lawyer too. The guy knew everyone in the courthouse including the judge. They were talking about fishing before the case.....ugh I guess I'm lucky to have it end the way it did.

Oh we'll it's in the past now :)

I do have an appointment on Friday with a decorator; we call them "decorinas" because it's been our general experience that they tend to be prima ballerinas and most of them don't have a clue as to what it takes to get some of these papers on the wall.

Quick pop in, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the Depp!!!!!!!!

Dave, court was BS. Had you been a penniless scumbag it would've been dropped. Those outfits FEED the system. They throw out bogus bills, you have to hire a lawyer. One feeds the other. Keeps everyone employed. Just my opinion, YMMV.

Lori that's exactly what it was, a complete scam. It would have cost me twice as much to fight it and who knows I could have still lost :( oh well at least it's over. These guys will get theirs sooner or later.

Google search Palisades Acquisitions LLC, it shows the type of people these scumbags are

Another day of Doggy Daycare and another exhausted puppy lol
