I agree, ewwww on the raw, but I have texture issues with a lot of raw things.
But, I do like them smoked, in soup, and my favorite (YUM-->) Oysters Rockefeller (<--YUM)

I LOVE oysters, any which way you want to serve them. Although, I have to admit, my DH had to get me slightly drunk to eat them raw the first time. But one taste and I was sold. Love them! But, I like caviar, too. It's rare I get any of that...champagne tastes on a Kool-Aide budget.

I've never had caviar but hear it is very salty ... don't need/want none of that!
