I LOVE oysters, any which way you want to serve them. Although, I have to admit, my DH had to get me slightly drunk to eat them raw the first time. But one taste and I was sold. Love them! But, I like caviar, too. It's rare I get any of that...champagne tastes on a Kool-Aide budget.

Not sure how far this is from you, I guess I could google it since you list your hometown, but the first (and BEST) Oysters Rockefeller I had were at a restaurant called Todd Jurich Bistro, in Norfolk. Prob. one of THE best dinners I've ever had too.
But I really haven't traveled that much. We were on a work vacation. Most all our expenses were covered, so we splurged on a really nice dinner one evening. I just looked, and I don't even see it on the menu anymore.
